Bingman, 91, of 134 Grant St., Franklin, died at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in his residence. Born Sept. 25, 1913, in Nebraska, Pa., he was the son of Truman D. and Edna J. Sibble Bingman. Mr. Bingman was employed as a welder for CPT, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Fox Street Church of God. He was a former member of the Titusville Odd Fellows. Mr. Bingman was married Dec. 25, 1936, to Ruth Range, who died Sept. 16, 2001. Also surviving are three children, Carl G. Bingman and wife, Lois, and Marlene B. Brown, all of Franklin, and the Rev. Sue Bingman of South Bloomfield, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Kathy Gilmore, Brenda Walker, Melissa Bingman and Mrs. Joshua (Stacey) Baker, all of Franklin, the Rev. Jeff Bingman and wife, Kim, of Apollo, and Mrs. Larry (Carla) Drake of Pleasantville; and 10 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by a half brother, Truman Bingman of Enterprise; and two half sisters, Mrs. Donald (Sherry) Thompson of Pleasantville and Maxine Hetrick of Corry. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Bingman was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Gilmore; a sister, Doris Klavis; and half brother, William Bingman. Wilmer Harlan "Wimp" Blauser Wilmer Harlan "Wimp" Blauser, 80, of 654 Bredinsburg Road, Franklin, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Feb. 21, 1924, in Fertigs, he was the son of Sheldon and Jenny Silzle Blauser. Mr. Blauser served as an apprentice seaman with the United States Naval Reserves for two years. He worked for 42 years at the Pennzoil Refinery in Rouseville, retiring in March 1986. Mr. Blauser was a member of the Seneca United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, yard work and tinkering around with anything he could find. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Blauser was married May 19, 1945, to Helen Marie Minnick, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John Blauser and wife, Rosetta, of Richmond, Va., Tom Blauser of Oil City and Kim Blauser and fiancée, Kimberly Schneider, of Seneca; 11 grandchildren, Cindy Jude and Kim Hatala and husband, John, of Richmond, Va., Stephanie Ledsome and husband, Brian, of Newport News, Va., Amanda Engles and husband, Richie, Theresa Blauser and Rachel Schneider and Tim Cubbon of Seneca, John, Keith and Renee Blauser and David Schneider, all of Oil City; and 14 great-grandchildren, Carter, Jessica and Rebecca Jude, Cari Apple, Jacob Hatala, Emilee Engles, Ricky Ware, Nathan and Katlyn Winger, Brennen and Abbigaille Blauser, Tricia Blauser, Autumn Page and Phillip Schneider. He also is survived by a brother, Paul Blauser, and a sister, Elsie Burk. In addition to his parents, Mr. Blauser was preceded in death by one grandson, Jody Sheldon Blauser; four brothers, Norman, Harold, Thurston and Burdell Blauser; and six sisters, Lois Bidwell, Mariann Kluck, Ruth Knight, Evelyn Weaver, Liola Karns and Carmen Blauser. Deal, 58, of 109 Weaver St., Franklin, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in her residence. Born Oct. 9, 1946, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Henry P. and Ruth Johnson Kightlinger. Mrs. Deal worked as a nurse's assistant for Venango Manor. She was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship of Franklin where she was very involved in the church and participated in various revivals throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania, serving as a lay witness. She also served on the church advisory board and especially enjoyed the Christian speaker Joyce Meyers. Mrs. Deal was married June 18, 1965, to Robert Allen Deal Sr., who survives. Also surviving are four children, Robert A. Deal Jr. and wife, Ginger, and William H. Deal and wife, Shannon, all of Franklin, Brian Deal of Beaver and Rhonda L. Montgomery and husband, Robert, of Titusville; and 11 grandchildren, Chelsey and Kyle Montgomery of Titusville, Christina Deal of Chicago, Ill., Britney and Brandon Laing, Justice Oakes and Brooke, Page and Sara Deal, all of Franklin, and Rachel and Jonathan Deal of Beaver. She also is survived by a sister, Connie Oakes and husband, Clyde, of Seneca; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William E. and Thelma Deal of Franklin. Quay Finefrock, 86, formerly of Pone Lane, Franklin, died at 12:58 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Sept. 22, 1918, in Piney Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Frank and Dorothy Varner Finefrock. He was a 1938 graduate of Clarion High School. He later attended different welding and management schools. Mr. Finefrock worked as a welder for several companies including Joy Mining Machines where he was a foreman. He then was plant manager for Conair for 25 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the First Church of God at Seventh Street, Franklin; the Franklin Kiwanis Club and had received the Kiwanian of the Year award; served on the board of directors of Vo-Tech; was a past member of the Christian Motorcycle Club; and was past noble grand of the Odd Fellows. Mr. Finefrock volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels and the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County. He was very active in the Masonic organization as a member of Myrtle Lodge No. 316, F. & A.M.; was past eminent commander of Commandery; past grand Tall Cedar; Benefit Club Officer; Zem Zem Shrine; White Shrine; Venango County Shrine where he started the Tri-Wheels Club; was an aide to three potentates; past high priest of Chapter; past illustrious master of Council; Lodge of Perfection; New Castle Consistory; Red Cross of Constantine; York Rite College; Joshua Associates; and the Royal Order of Scotland. Mr. Finefrock was married April 10, 1940, to the former Gladys G. Giles, who survives. He and his wife liked to travel and some long travels were on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed owning different automobiles and motorcycles. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son and wife, Quay Giles and Etoile Finefrock of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Renny Reagle and husband, Elmer, of Franklin and Gaynelle Jean Anderson and husband, Chris, of Fredericksburg, Va.; seven grandchildren, Starlette DeAnne Geisz and husband, John, Quay Butler Finefrock and wife, Tara, and Kalen Jason Finefrock and wife, Jenni, all of St. Louis, Mo.; Douglas Reagle and wife, Candace, of Brookhaven, Miss.; Brad Reagle and wife, Sharon, of Union City; Garland C. Anderson II and wife, Brandi, of Fredericksburg, Va.; and Lisa Wildman and husband, John, of Champaign, Ill.; and 19 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by two sisters, Thelma Kifer of Struthers, Ohio, and Charlotte Lewis of Alabama. Mr. Finefrock was preceded in death by his parents. Bissell Ave., Oil City, 16301. Curry Harrah Curry Harrah, 68, of Cooperstown, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at his residence. Born May 8, 1936, in Franklin, he was the son of Curry C. and Eileen Freer Harrah. Mr. Harrah worked for Franklin Steel Industries. At age 14, Mr. Harrah was involved in a serious hunting accident that left him with internal injuries and a lifetime of physical impairments. Despite these obstacles, he was still able to work a full career and provide for his children, inspiring his family with his perseverance and hard work. Mr. Harrah enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and was an auto enthusiast. Surviving are a son, Jody Harrah of Manchester, Conn.; a daughter, Mrs. James (Jill) Woltz of Roanoke, Va.; and two grandchildren, Jacob Curry and John Elliott Woltz of Roanoke, Va. He also is survived by two brothers and their wives, Robert and Lorraine Harrah of Seneca and Wayne and Linda Harrah of Franklin; several nieces and nephews; and one uncle, James Freer and wife, Maxine, of Franklin. Interment will be in Cooperstown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Larry C. McClelland Larry C. McClelland, 63, of Stoneboro, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005. Born July 11, 1941, in Sandy Lake, he was the son of Jesse and Laurene McClelland, who survive in Grove City. He was born at the home of his grandparents, Lawrence J. "Doc" and Jennie Patton. Mr. McClelland was a 1959 graduate of Lakeview High School, Stoneboro. He later enlisted in the Army Reserves. Mr. McClelland was a hard worker, beginning at age 12 when he was employed by the former Mowry and McKean Market in Sandy Lake. He had a 41-year career at Spang Power Control of Sandy Lake, retiring in 2001. He was an active member of the Stoneboro Presbyterian Church for more than 30 years, serving as an elder and trustee. Mr. McClelland also was a member of the Stoneboro Lions Club, APICS Professional Business Association and the National Wild Turkey Federation. He will be remembered by his many friends as an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman, sharing many hours afield and many trips throughout the states. Mr. McClelland was married to his high school sweetheart, Roberta Hanford. He and his wife attended the Pittsburgh Steelers football games for more than 30 years. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, David, and granddaughter, Megan; a daughter, Jennie Redfoot and husband, Bill, and granddaughter Anna, all of Stoneboro; his parents of Grove City; and two brothers and their wives, Dennis and Judy McClelland of Greenville and Terry and Rhonda McClelland of Grove City; and six nieces and nephews who grew up spending time with their uncle. Geraldine Hope Hamilton Swires Geraldine Hope Hamilton Swires, 79, of Oil City, died at 1 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Beverly Healthcare-Oil City. Born July 29, 1925, in Apollo, she was the daughter of Elmer D. and Della Boocks Hamilton. Mrs. Swires worked for the W.T. Grant Co., The Derrick stuffing papers, was an Avon and Tupperware salesperson and was a bookkeeper for her son at Oil City Radiator & Battery until her retirement. She maintained an active lifestyle and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Swires was married in Oil City Dec. 2, 1942, to Clarence Ellsworth Swires, who died June 30, 1977. Surviving are a son and wife, Clarence James and Shirley Swires of Oil City; five grandchildren, James C. Swires, John H. Wagner Jr. and Nicole R. Hale, all of Oil City, Alicia L. Rodgers and husband, Jeffrey, of Reno and Amanda E. Owens and husband, Shawn, of Seneca; six great-grandchildren, Brittani M. Swires, Tiffani L. Swires, Kaleb B. Wagner and Rebecca J. Wagner, all of Oil City, Noah D. Rodgers of Reno and Abigail L. Owens of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews. Lubonovich memorial set Saturday A memorial service for Emerick Theodore Lubonovich, 81, of 1329 West Montrose, Youngstown, Ohio, will be held at noon Saturday in the Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown. The Rev. Bill Anzevino of Christian Assembly Church of Industry will officiate. Mr. Lubonovich, father of Debby Lubonovich of Franklin, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, in the Cleveland Clinic.
