Wolfe, 8 Miller Ave., Franklin Barbara Snow, memorial set Dorothy M. "Dode" Borger Dorothy M. "Dode" Borger, 85, of 420 Meadville Pike, Franklin, died at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Nov. 14, 1919, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Glenn H. Brink Sr. and Katherine P. Wyant Brink. She was a 1937 graduate of Franklin High School. She also attended God's Bible School and College in Cincinnati, Ohio, for three years. Mrs. Borger worked in social service at Polk Center and held a clerical position at Joy Manufacturing. She was a member of the Fox Street Church of God and was a member of the Even Dozen Sewing Club. Mrs. Borger enjoyed acquiring collectors spoons from around the world and enjoyed baking, cooking, puzzles and playing cards. He was married July 31, 1940, to Maurice E. Borger, who died Sept. 10, 2004. Surviving are three children, Daniel W. Borger and wife, Hannah, of Mesa, Ariz., and Rodney K. Borger and wife, Bonnie, and Wanda L. Corbett and husband, Jack, all of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Mark Borger and wife, Dawn, and Jennifer Totaro and husband, Lawrence, all of Irwin; Rebecca Hines and husband, William, Jeffrey Corbett and fiancee, Tammy Reitz, and Tracy Martin, all of Franklin; Jon Corbett and wife, Barbara of Lerona, W.Va.; Dr. Wendy Corbett and husband, Harold T. Fink III, of Lebanon, N.J; and Dana Borger and wife, Judy, of Apex, N.C.; and 22 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by three brothers, Glenn Brink Jr. and wife, Alice, of Cooperstown, James Brink and wife, Pauline, of Butler and Richard Brink and wife, Jennifer, of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Betty Deets and husband, Richard, of Cochranton, Patricia Rodgers and husband, John, of Cooperstown and Penny Jo Proctor and husband, Robert, of Franklin; three brothers-in-law, Robert Reed of Cooperstown, Edward Borger of Franklin and Wallace Borger of Santa Fe, N.M.; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Borger of Franklin and Betty Borger and Marge Borger, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and wife, Mrs. Borger was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Nelson and husband, Ellis, and Norma Reed. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Philip Conklin, pastor of the Fox Street Church of God, officiating. Clark, 64, of Methodist Towers, 160 W. Eighth St., Erie, formerly of Oil City, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at his residence. Born Aug. 16, 1940, in Greenville, he was the son of Lois I. Clark Brooks and Robert Clark. He was a graduate of Oil City High School. Mr. Clark was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had been a bank manager in Pennsylvania and Florida. Surviving are his mother, Lois Clark Brooks of Erie; three daughters, Macaulay Clark of Erie, Valerie Clearman of Brandon, Miss., and Kathy D'Arche of Houston, Texas; and a grandson, Timothy Clearman. He also is survived by a sister, Barbara Kapp of Oil City; one niece; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Edward Kapp. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church, 207 State St., Oil City, with the Rev. Wolfe, 79, of 8 Miller Ave., Franklin, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born July 15, 1925, in Fort Monroe, Va., she was the daughter of Fred H. and Flora H. Tillery Bullard. She was a graduate of Hampton High School in Hampton, Va. Mrs. Wolfe had worked as a receptionist/secretary for Miles & Beach Insurance and Dr. Cenedella. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. Mrs. Wolfe was married June 26, 1944, to Robert O. Wolfe, who survives. She and her husband liked to travel in their later years, taking long rides in the country and trying new restaurants. She also enjoyed reading. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three children, Robert J.. Wolfe and wife, Martha, of Franklin, Fred C. Wolfe and wife, Rose, of Pittsburgh and Timothy L. Wolfe and wife, Debbie, of Ocala, Fla.; and six grandchildren, William R. Wolfe of Slippery Rock University, Michael J. Wolfe, Gregory A. Wolfe and Douglas P. Wolfe, all of the University of Pittsburgh, Cherie D. Campbell and husband, Mark, of Bethlehem, Pa., and Robert J. Wolfe II of Stavanger, Norway. She also is survived by a sister, Patty Rodgers of Durham, N.C.; and three sisters-in-law, Tudy Bullard of Colorado Springs, Colo., Sarah Barr and Shirley Grandelis, both of Franklin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Bullard II. There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial set for Barbara Snow A memorial service for Barbara Ann Snow, 58, of Reno, Nev., formerly of Oil City, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Oil City Church of the Nazarene with Pastor William Hopkins presiding. The family will receive friends in the church immediately after the service. Ms. Snow died Sunday, Dec. 5, in Reno, Nev.
