Hi Mary, My Smiths and Harrigers are not connecated at all. My Smiths are the ancesters of the Phillips line and the Harrigers married into the Orr line. The Phillips are part of my husbands Mothers family and the Harriagers part of his fathers family.--- However William Mead Phillips married Margaret Helen Smith in 1897. She was the daughter of Samuel Smith who came from Glasgow Scotland. The Harrieger--Samuel Curtin Harriger married Catherine Minerva Orr in 1897. He was the son of George Harriger and Hannah Rhodes. If any of this matches please let me know. I think we have chatted before--several years ago problably about our family lines, don't remember the outcome however. Have a good day.
