George R.and Susan Strecker Smith were married in Philadelphia in October 1835 and moved to Indiana County. They had 3 girls and 3 boys, one of whom, Henry Harrison, is my great grandfather. He moved to Clarion County in 1864, married Maria Brecht, and they had 10 children who survived to adulthood in Farmington Twp. The homestead was located a mile east of Frill's Corners. My grandfather, Warren Ernest, was a teacher at 18 in the Lewis School about a quarter of a mile east of his home. Do you have a map of Clarion County that shows the property owners and school locations in/about 1880? Warren moved to Nebraska, PA, when married, and taught at Ross Run School. He left the area about 1907 to attend Ohio Northern University for a theology degree. WS.
