Smith, Colorado, formerly of Parker Margaret J. Bobrosky Margaret J. Bobrosky, 90, of 5 Chautauqua Court, Oil City, died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Dick Gipe, of Oil City. John Garber Jr. John Garber Jr., 82, of Balver Avenue, Pittsburgh, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 29, 2004, at Marion Manor. Born Feb. 24, 1922, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late John and Pauline Garber. He was married May 17, 1944, to the former Ethel Virginia Underwood, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia George and her husband, William, of New Bethlehem; a son, John Michael Garber and his wife, Linda, of Mount Lebanon; four grandchildren, Dianna Bain of New Bethlehem, Douglas George of Harrisburg and Kim Mackin and Robin Garber, both of Mount Lebanon; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Garber; two sisters, Edith Bock and Elsie Kestner; and a grandson, William A. Jimmy Swogger officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery. Leona A. Bucholz Lehnortt Leona A. Bucholz Lehnortt, 88, formerly of Oil City, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in Erie following an extended illness. The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge off arrangements. Shawn Michael Schubert Shawn Michael Schubert, 22, of Seneca, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Born March 27, 1982, in Oil City, he was a son of Michael E. and Kimberly A. Wilson Schubert, who survive. Mr. Schubert was a 2000 Cranberry High School graduate, where he participated in wrestling. In 2002, he earned a degree in computers from the Pittsburgh Technical Institute. Mr. Schubert was a member of Seneca United Methodist Church. He enjoyed computers, working on vehicles, remodeling and helping with construction projects around the home. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. Mr. Schubert had previously worked in technical support for Stargate in Erie, until its closure. He most recently worked at CS Online, Computer Showcase and The Learning Center in Seneca, providing technical Internet support and customer service. In addition to his parents of Seneca, Mr. Schubert is survived by a younger brother whom he adored, Dylan M. Schubert, at home; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Dot Wilson of Seneca; his paternal grandmother, Frances A. Schubert of Cranberry; a great-grandfather, Woodrow Wilson of Rockland; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harry F. Schubert; a great-grandfather, Harold Yeager Sr.; and his great-grandmothers, Mary Wilson and Margaret McClaine. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Seneca United Methodist Church, 196 E. State Road, Seneca, with the Rev. Robert H. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Brandon Cemetery, Cranberry Township. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shriners organization, or to the charity of one's choice. Dennis W. Smith Dennis W. Smith, 49, of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of Parker and New Castle, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo following a brief illness. Born June 20, 1955, in Carlisle, he was the son of the Rev. Paul M. and Audrey Deckard Smith of Emlenton. Mr. Smith was a graduate of Neshannock High School, New Castle, and attended Anderson College, now Anderson University, in Anderson, Ind. He worked for Hewlett-Packard in Colorado for a brief time. He then worked as a computer board repairman for the Celestica Corp. of Fort Collins where he was employed at the time of his illness and death. Mr. Smith was a member of the Church of God at Fort Collins. He thoroughly loved his many years of residence in Colorado where he could spend his leisure time backwoods camping and fishing in the mountains. Mr. Smith is survived by his parents; a sister, Cindy Workman and her husband, Donald, of New Castle; a brother, Dean Smith and his wife, Karen, of Anderson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Wayne St. Parker. Visitation will also be conducted from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Park Hill Church of God, Lime Plant Road, West Freedom. Funeral services will be held at the Park Hill Church of God at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Lonny Wolford, church pastor, officiating. The Rev. Korono Say and the Rev. David Bailey, both of Park Hill, will assist. Private interment will be held at a later date.
