I appears that he fathered quite a few children between between the three wives. He died at Byron Station as a result of a railroad tradegy right after his third wife, Bertha Bulette was taken by the Great Influenica Epedemic (Spainish Flu) that swept thru our nation taking many lives. My grandfather's name was Thomas Albert Singleton "nickname: Ike" and he and several siblings were farmed out to neighbors. Commissioner Hess took my grandfather in and let him work for his keep.
