You are right re. the new thread. I started the board years ago when a woman wanted photos of school kids for a book on early Clarion County schools. Now, Ethel and V.J. are getting a handle on their mutual Smith ancestors. They should soon be able to start a meaningful new thread. Ethel's "Western PA Smiths" suggestion covers a heap of territory.
