Hi Patrick We have corresponded before about this issue and I agree it gets more confusing the harder you try to figure what on earth is going on. Someplace in my file, of course I can't put my finger on it, I have a copy of a deed that seems to indicate that Sarah Delp and Sarah Dunn are indeed one in the same person. And I have come to the conclusion that John S was married to Sarah and to Rachel., John S. had a son John J. who ( just to make matters worse) was John C. John C was my husband uncle. Anyway the other thing is that there was at least one other John Orr living in the same area about the same time. So.............around and around you go. I think I have probably added to your confusion but I will look for that deed and make a copy for you. The deed was between Sarah and another apparently after John S died. My take on it is that Sarah Delp was a household helper after Rachel died ???? who knows but that seems to make sense. The other thing is that the old style of hand writting makes it difficult to discern between some letters and S and J are a couple of them. So I will look and see if I can locate that later today.
