Flockerzi, Riverside Drive, Oil City Timothy Michael Shea, Tionesta Betty L. Weaver, Oil City, formerly of Marienville J. Braden Tinker, getting it right Mary Ann Cherry Mary Ann Cherry, 70, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, in Clarview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Sligo. She formerly lived in West Monterey, Morningside, Pittsburgh, and Cheswick. Born Oct. 22, 1934, in Springdale, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ann Malinowsky Zebrine. Mrs. Cherry was a retired registered nurse for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, O'Hara Township, and the Allekiski Medical Center, Harrison Township. She was a member of Madonna of Jerusalem Catholic Church in Sharpsburg. Mrs. Cherry was married to Leo V. Cherry, who survives. Also surviving are a stepson, Michael J. Cherry and wife, Roslyn, of Morningside, Pittsburgh; two brothers, Gerald Zebrine and wife, Rose, of Harwick and Joseph Zebrine and wife, Diane, of Shaler Township; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Worrell Funeral Home, 820 Main St., Sharpsburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday in Madonna of Jerusalem Church, Sharpsburg, with the Rev. Andrew C. Fischer presiding. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, O'Hara Township. Braden D. Eshelman Braden D. Eshelman, 73, of Arroyo Grande, Calif., born in Franklin to Harold and Martha Roemer Eshelman, husband of Susie Eshelman and brother of John Eshelman of Franklin, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, in Arroyo Grande. Geraldine E. Flockerzi Geraldine E. Flockerzi, 84, of Riverside Drive, Oil City, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. The Faller Funeral Home of Fryburg is in charge of arrangements. A complete obituary will be published Wednesday in The Derrick. Timothy Michael Shea Timothy Michael Shea, 48, of Elm Street, Tionesta, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at his home. Born Sept. 5, 1956, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Jeanne McGurgan Shea of Tionesta, formerly of Pleasantville, and the late Martin Shea. He was a 1975 graduate of Shaler Area High School in Glenshaw. Mr. Shea owned and operated an auto repair business in Tionesta from 1988 until health problems forced him to close. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, movies and NASCAR. Mr. Shea was married April 22, 1978, in St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw, to Roberta A. "Robin" Krecek, who survives along with his mother of Tionesta. Also surviving are two sons, Ryan and Cory Shea, both of Troutman, N.C.; four daughters, Emily Shea of Pittsburgh and Melanie, Laurel and Julie Shea, all at home in Tionesta. He also is survived one brother, Charles Shea and his wife, Cathy, of Gibsonia; two sisters, Patti Deedler and her husband, Earl, of Monroeville and Erin Meier and her husband, Jay, of Gibsonia; three nephews; four nieces; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; and his canine "kid," Snowball. In addition to his father, Mr. Shea was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Mary McGurgan; his paternal grandparents, Martin and Florence Shea; and a brother, William Shea. There will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, in St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Tionesta, with the Rev. Tom Aleksa presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarion/Forest VNA Hospice, Knox, 16232. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. Betty L. Weaver Betty L. Weaver, 83, formerly of Marienville, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, in Beverly Healthcare-Oil City, following an extended illness. Born March 17, 1921, in Clarion County, she was the daughter of Harry and Mabel Cookson Stephens. She and her dad operated the Marienville Beverage Co. for many years. She was a 1939 graduate of Sligo High School. Mrs. Weaver and her late husband, Elvin, operated The Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Strobleton in the 1950s. She also worked 10 years at the Clarion Glass Plant and had been a custodian for the East Forest School System. She was active in the VFW and M.A.C.A., both of Marienville. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed playing bingo, cards, crocheting and an occasional trip to Las Vegas. She was married in St. Michael Church, Fryburg, May 5, 1943, to Elvin Weaver, who died May 6, 1991. Surviving are three children, Karen May and husband, Charles, of Oil City, Ronald Weaver and wife, Betty Lee, of Leechburg and Roger Weaver and wife, Kathy, of Marienville; five grandchildren, Dawn Marie May, Chad Weaver, JJ Weaver, Rhonda Weaver and Charles T. May Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan and Zoe Weaver. She also is survived by one brother, Roy Stephens of Monroe. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by two infant sons, Elvin Weaver Jr. and Richard Weaver; one brother, Kenneth Stephens; and one sister, Anita Sedgewich. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Msgr. John W. Swoger, pastor of St. Joseph Church, presiding. Interment will follow in North Forest Cemetery, Marienville. Memorials may be made to the M.A.C.A. Club of Marienville; Easter Seals; or to Venango Catholic High School, Oil City. Getting it right J. Braden Tinker - J. Braden Tinker, 77, of Seneca, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at his home after a lengthy illness. He retired in 1992 from Pennzoil Products Co. in Rouseville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Frank Tinker, in 2002.
