She married Samuel Platt (b. lewiston, Mifflin Co. Pa. 2/27/1828) on Feb 18 1851 in Rimersburg PA. They had four children all born in Clarion County PA: Emily Jane ( born 1853 -1921), Mary Catharine ( 4/23/1856 - )and Amos Brinker (Oct. 20th 1858 - 6/3/1925) and ( William Russell who died in infancy) Bery or Buy Gilbert was probably still alive in 1891 in PA as Lavina death certificate indicates the mother, catherine, deceased.
