Hagen, Stoney Lonesome Road, Monroe Township, Clarion County Heinrich Lacina, Mentor, Ohio, formerly of Franklin Ruth Schultz, 175 Schultz Lane, Franklin Beau Joseph Traister, Knox Isiah Benton Traister, Knox Verle Dwight Barrett, 73, of Dayton, Pa., passed away in an automobile accident near Worthington on Friday, Nov. 21, 2008. His beloved wife, Demona Detamore Barrett, was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment but later joined him in death as a result of injuries she sustained in the same accident. Born Oct. 16, 1935, in Dayton, he was the son of Raymond and Olive Anthony Barrett. Both of the Barretts were members of Dayton United Methodist Church They were active in the sport of horse harness racing for a number of years, with Rosemont Student capturing the track record at Sciota Downs in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Barrett was a proud founder of B&B Oil and Gas Production Co. He took great pleasure in his past endeavors as a licensed barber operating a successful barber shop near the campus of Taylor University in Upland, Ind. Mr. Barrett was most well known for his great sense of humor, his elaborate storytelling, his great ingenuity and his unyielding love for his family and friends. Mr. Barrett is survived by one daughter, Julie Jonell Barrett of Tampa, Fla.; one son, Barry Dwight Barrett of Dayton; three brothers, the Rev. Eugene Barrett and his wife, Lorraine, of Dayton, Lyle Barrett and his wife, Lorena, of Dayton, and James Barrett and his wife, Judy, of Coraopolis; three sisters, Patricia Hetrick and her husband, Venton, of New Bethlehem, Irene B. Alyn of Cedarville, Ohio, and Paula Reedy and her husband, Herman, of Mars; one sister-in-law, Sharon Barrett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine nieces, 11 nephews, 19 great-nieces, 23 great-nephews and three great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Ira Barrett. Mrs. Barrett is survived by one daughter, Julie Jonell Barrett of Tampa, Fla.; one son, Barry Dwight Barrett of Dayton; her mother, Virginia Nell Endsley Detamore of Upland, Ind.; two sisters, Lamona Miller and Berta Theone "Sis" Long, both of Marion, Ind.; one brother, Burtis Theron "Sonny" Detamore of Upland, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Green, 48, of 414 Sugarcreek Drive, Franklin, died unexpectedly at 6:37 a.m. Sunday morning, Nov. 23, 2008, shortly after her arrival in the emergency department of UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born Feb. 14, 1960, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Floyd Ghering and the late Lawanda Turk Ghering. Mrs. Green was a 1978 graduate of Franklin High School. She was married Nov. 3, 1979, in Franklin to Donovan C. Green Jr. who survives. Mrs. Green worked from her home in Sugarcreek and had operated Terri's Tiny Tykes Daycare Center for many years. She will fondly be remembered by all who had come to know her as a caring and loving person; most especially by the children entrusted to her care. She will be perhaps missed the most by her granddaughter, Natalee, whom she dearly loved. Mrs. Green was a ladies associate member of the Franklin Lodge #83 Loyal Order of Moose and Franklin VFW Jesse Greer Post #1835. In addition to her husband of 29 years, Mrs. Green is survived by two children, Nichole M. Sloss and her husband, Anthony, and Donovan C. Green III and his special friend, Jessica Cutchall, all of Franklin; and a granddaughter, Natalee Sloss, of Franklin. She is also survived by her father, Floyd Ghering and his wife, Lois, of Franklin; a sister, Lois Ghering of Lebanon, Ohio; two brothers, Larry Ghering and his wife, Shirley, of Stoneboro; Robert Ghering and his wife, Judy, of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Hagen, 57, of Stoney Lonesome Road, Monroe Township, Clarion County, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at his residence. Born March 9, 1951 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of George and Louise Constantine Hagen. He was married Feb. 25, 1984, to Kelly Stewart who survives. Mr. Hagen was a mail contractor. He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and was an admirer and collector antique cars. Mr. Hagen was a very giving person and loved his family very much. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by three children, Bryan J. Hagen, Jennifer M. Hagen and Jamie N. Hagen, all of Clarion; one sister, Candy George and her husband, Duke, of Pittsburgh; two brothers, George Hagen and his wife, Sue, and Glen Hagen, all of Pittsburgh. Heinrich Lacina, 92, of Mentor, Ohio, formerly of Franklin, passed away Saturday Nov. 22, 2008, at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby, Ohio Born Feb. 19, 1916 in Cologne, Germany, he was the son of the late Wenzel and Christina Lacina. Mr. Lacina was a veteran of World War II, having served in Africa with Rommels Afrika Korp were he made master sergeant. He was married March 24, 1950, to the former Resi "Theresa" Hilgers who survives. Mr. Lacina retired in 1978 from Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. in Franklin where he worked as a design engineer. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lacina is survived by three children, Heinrich "Bert" Lacina and his wife, Connie; Christina Nozar and her husband, Richard; Frank Lacina and his wife, Judith; four grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Allen and Nathan; and three great-grandchildren. Born Dec. 10, 1922 in Harrisville she was the daughter of the late John G. Coast and Eunice M. Buchanan. Mrs. Schultz as a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She graduated from nursing school in Cleveland and was a registered nurse. She was married March 14, 1946 in Cleveland to Harry Schultz, who survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schultz is survived by four children, Michael Schultz and his wife, Sally, of McDonald; Michele Crisman of Franklin; Melissa Daubenspeck and her husband, Dave, of Franklin; and Mark Schultz and his wife, Ella, of Franklin. Green, 414 Sugarcreek Drive, Franklin Howard Robert "Bob" McQuiston, 766 Jackson Center-Polk Road, Stoneboro Ruth Schultz, Bredinsburg Road, Franklin Mary Lou Sweeney, Oil City Mary Jane Winkler, Whitehall Road, Emlenton June A. Woolstrum, Cooperstown Mary Kay Banner, of Seventh Ave, Clarion, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at the Hospice House in Shippenville. Born April 5, 1918, in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late Edward Henry Banner and Ida Fillinger Banner. A graduate of Seton Hill College and the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Banner was retired from the Clarion Area Schools. She was in the teacher training program of Clarion University. For 13 years, she served on the Clarion Free Library Board. Earlier in her life, she was active in Clarion Civic Club. She also was faculty adviser to Sigma Sigma Sigma and the Newman Club for many years. She was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu. Ms. Banner was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish, where she was president of its Sodality, and served as an officer in the Oil City district and on the Diocesan Council. In her youth, she was organist for the Children's Choir. Later, she was a lector for seven years. She served as president and as elementary chairwoman for the Clarion Area Education Association. She held lifetime memberships in the county and state P.S.E.A. Often she participated in the teaching role in workshops for schools. She wrote children's plays, mostly for the intermediate grades, and "Let Freedom Ring" received Pennsylvania state acclaim during the Bicentennial. An avid traveler, she visited many lands. Born June 16, 1954, in Brookville, he was the son of Leo and Kathryn Yurkovic Curran, who survive and reside at Knox. Tom was a graduate of Keystone Area School District at Knox. He was employed for more than 18 years by Francis J. Palo Contracting Co. of Clarion, from which he retired. He then entered into a partnership with his son, "Rob," working under the name of Curran's Custom Wood Products, located near Rimersburg. He was involved in that partnership at the time of his accident and death. He was of the Catholic and was most recently associated with St. Eusebius Catholic Church at East Brady. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Elizabeth Terwilliger "Beth" Curran; one son, Robert Patrick "Rob" Curran of Sligo; two daughters, Christina Leann Curran of Pittsburgh and Amanda Rose Curran of Foxburg; one grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. Howard Robert "Bob" McQuiston, 73, of 766 Jackson Center-Polk Road, Stoneboro, and Rockport, Texas, died Friday evening, Nov. 21, 2008, in St. Luke Episcopal Hospital, Texas Heart Institute of Houston, Texas, after a brief illness. Born March 3, 1935, in Sharon, he was a son of Howard Meade and Lillian May Collenette McQuiston. He was a 1953 graduate of Mercer High School and attended Youngstown State University and served with the U.S. Naval Reserves as a Seabee. He was a self-made man and an entrepreneur and created and developed many businesses throughout the years that provided a better life for many. He was a self-taught construction engineer and in 1969, along with his brother, Bruce, founded Flexospan Inc. of Sandy Lake, and they became one of the largest producers of steel structures and steel coverings in the area. With their combined efforts, the brothers helped build and develop the Sandy Lake Senior Center and dedicated it to their mother, Lillian, as the McQuiston Center by the Park in Sandy Lake. Bob was a Christian and was a member of Emmanuel Christian Church of Stoneboro, where he served as a trustee. Mr. McQuiston was known for his generosity, and contributed to improving the lives of others by volunteering his time and resources. He was involved with various real estate holdings throughout Mercer County. He served as director with Helping Hands in Stoneboro and provided them with space in his building in Stoneboro to house their New Faith Furnishings store. He was also a director of the Regional Job Training Program, West Central Job Partnership for Lawrence and Mercer County Work Force Investment Board. Mr. McQuiston loved farming and specialized in raising Simmental cattle and served on the national board of the American Simmental Cattle Association. He also served on the board of the National Steel Deck Institute. He was a member of Shenango Lodge # 810 F & AM of Hermitage, 32nd degree Mason, Scottish Rites, New Castle Consistory, Shriners of North America and Zem Zem Shrine, Erie. He was a member and strong supporter of the Republican Party. He was an avid aviator and owned several airplanes and logged more than 8,000 hours of flying. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spent his life enjoying the outdoors. Bob's family was a priority and he took on the responsibilities of family patriarch, who, along with his wife, Connie, organized birthday events and the annual family Christmas parties. His wife of 41 years, Alyce Caswell McQuiston, preceded him in death December 1994. He then married Constance Benninger on Oct. 10, 1998, and she survives at home. Survivors also include five children, Howard Paul "Skip" McQuiston and Kay of Blounts Creek, N.C., Edward Allan "Ted" McQuiston and Kelly of Hermitage, Sarah Canady of Warren, Ohio, Melissa Lynne McWilliams of Houston, Texas, and Travis Cole McWilliams and Sherry of Cypress, Texas. Also surviving are a brother, Bruce A. McQuiston and his wife, Judy, of Mercer; and a sister, Patricia McQuiston and Terry of Wexford. Among the survivors are 15 grandchildren, Sheri Lynne Latimer and Brad, Josh McQuiston and Christine, Kelly, Robert and Eric McQuiston, Darcey and Jamie DeTullio, Patricia and Clark McQuiston, Matthew, Joey and Renee Canady and Hunter Mason, Ashlynn Grace and Mari-Katherine McWilliams. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Kyler DeTulio, Austin and Abegail McQuiston and Alisha Joyce Latimer; and nieces, nephews and their families. Born May 22, 1932, in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Florence Cyphert Kahle. Mrs. Sweeney was a graduate of the Oil City School of Cosmetology. She worked as a beautician in a beauty shop in her home for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Venus. Mrs. Sweeney enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking bread and cutting pies at Pinegrove Fire Hall's fish dinners. She also enjoyed the many friendships she made with her beauty shop customers over the years. She had a special love for her grandchildren and her dog, Rainy. She was married June 10, 1950, to Thomas Hazlett, who preceded her in death July 30, 1951. After his death, she married Ronald Sweeney on April 9, 1954. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1999. Surviving are two sons, Bruce Sweeney and his wife, Mary, and Brian Sweeney and his wife, Bonnie, all of Oil City; five grandchildren, Adam Sweeney of Tucson, Ariz., Dana Sweeney of Oil City, Erin Sweeney of Manassas, Va., Ryan Sweeney of Edinboro and Kyle Sweeney of Oil City. Also surviving is one brother, Donald "Dan" Kahle of Oil City. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Norma Winger, Dorothy Wilson, Ann Cudzil and Evelyn Gifford; and three brothers, John Kahle, Rodney Kahle and William Kahle. Mary Jane Winkler, 90, of Whitehall Road, Emlenton, Richland Township, Venango County, died at 2:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin. Born Feb. 1, 1918, in Big Bend, Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, she was the daughter of Samuel P. and Arena Lawrence Oglesby. Mrs. Winkler was a 1937 graduate of Emlenton High School and attended Oil City business school. Mrs. Winkler was a homemaker and enjoyed baking bread, canning, and both vegetable and flower gardening. She had been a member of the former West Home Free Methodist Church and was active in the women's missionary society. She later became a member of the Van Free Methodist Church. She was married June 30, 1944, to Harold Eugene Winkler, who preceded her in death June 3, 1998. Mrs. Winkler is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Smith, and her husband, J.R., of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ruby Doubledee and her husband, Stephen, of Oronogo, Mo., and Rita Winkler of Cincinnati; two sons, Joseph Winkler and his wife, Carolyn, of Cincinnati, and Gene Winkler and his wife, Lyn, of Friendswood, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, the Rev. George P. Oglesby and his wife, Ellouise, of Pleasantville, and Donald Oglesby, and his wife, Elsie, of Emlenton; and four sisters, Hazel Weaver of Emlenton, Anna Winkler, and her husband, Herman, of Emlenton, Ellen Hornburg, and her husband, Norman, of Clarendon, and Ruby Payne, and her husband, Charles, of Franklin. A number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Cavanaugh graduated from Oil City High School in 1956 and attended college in Pittsburgh. She worked in the Oil City area until moving to Tucson in September 1984, where she worked part-time. She devoted her time to her family friends and volunteering. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking and sewing. Mrs. Cavanaugh was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in Tucson. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cavanaugh is survived by a daughter, Pamela Hepler and her husband, Foster, of Tucson, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Cara Hepler of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Charles E. Ralph and his wife, Patricia, of Dempseytown; and many other relatives throughout the area. Mrs. Cavanaugh is also survived by Joyce Beightol, a very close, sister-like friend. Gordon, 69, of 298 Congress Hill Road, Franklin, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 18, 2008, at her residence. Born April 15, 1939, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late William A. Maul Sr. and Esther Heffernan. Ms. Gordon retired from Polk Center in 1997 after 25 years of service as an RSA. Born June 15, 1923, in Imperial, Finley Township, he was the son of the late Donald E. and Alice Lane Boling. He graduated from Finley High School in 1943. He married the former Harriet Brooks on June 1, 1973, in Valley Presbyterian Church in Imperial, and she survives. Mr. Boling was an oiler operator for 10 years with EOLA Coal Co., and he was a millwright and a carpenter with Union 2274. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Uniontown and Scottish Council Chapter Consistory-Valley of Pittsburgh. Mr. Boling was on the advisory board of Rainbow Girls Brownsville Assembly No. 6. Heasley, 81, of Water Street, Corsica, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born June 13, 1927, in Day City, he was the son of the late Samuel Heasley and Clara Frill Heasley. Mr. Heasley was married Aug. 12, 1950, to Donna L. Simpson, who survives. They had been married for 58 years. Mr. Heasley was a veteran of the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean Conflict in the Engineers Battalion. He retired from Owens-Illinois after 28 years of working in the maintenance department as an electrician. Mr. Heasley was a member of Corsica United Methodist Church for 55 years, the Jefferson County Fire Police, Strattanville American Legion, a council member for Corsica Borough, an honorary member of the Corsica Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Clarion Masonic Lodge 277, the Coudersport Consistory and the Zem Zem Temple in Erie. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Heasley was a Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He enjoyed his grandchildren and playing sports, he was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed hunting. In addition to his wife, Mr. Heasley is survived by a son, Randy Heasley and his wife, Beth, of Raliegh, N.C.; a daughter, Vicki Snyder and her husband, Greg, of Corsica; two sisters, Doris Miller of Muncie, Ind., and Phyllis Daughtery of Fisher; and two brothers, Don Heasley and Fred Heasley, both of Strattanville. Mrs. Miller enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being active in church functions. She was married Feb. 2, 2002, to Harry L. Miller, who preceded her in death. He was employed at National Transit Pump and Machine Co., Worthington Corp. and CPT in Franklin, and he retired from Joy Manufacturing. Mr. Rodgers was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Force in the India-Burma Theatre and in China, where he was a Flying Tiger. On Aug. 5, 1946, he married the former Frances Bruno, and she survives. Mr. Rodgers was a member of St. Stephen Church in Oil City. Mr. Rodgers was a retired assistant chief for Cornplanter Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed working at the fire hall, working on small engines and using his metal detector. Born Sept. 22, 1926, in Ringos Mill, Ky., he was the son of the late Marian and Annis Harris. Mr. Harris received his education in Hills Boro, Ky. He was married Dec. 31, 1954, to Helen L. Baker, who survives. The couple would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in December. Mr. Harris was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in Okinawa, Japan. He enjoyed playing basketball and golf. His family was his greatest love. He enjoyed being a loving husband and incredible father. He was a 1973 graduate of Cranberry High School and was a member of Nickleville Presbyterian Church. Mr. Sheffer enjoyed traveling, having made trips to Michigan and Ohio to visit his many relatives. He especially enjoyed his online "family," spending time playing euchre as "Papa-Bear-2-3." with the euchrefreaks league. Mr. Sheffer's health prevented him from attending their recent live euchre weekend in Michigan. He could also be found in "pogo bowl" with the "Wolfnhogs" league in which he was an administrator. He had been encouraged many times during his illness by the calls and letters from his online friends. Mr. Sheffer was married May 14, 1983, at Hill City United Methoidst Church to Bonnie Reddinger, who survives. The Sheffers renewed their wedding vows this spring at Nickleville Presbyterian Church. He served with the Third Armored Division, U.S. Army in Germany from 1963 to 1965 and then started his dental internship at Hartford Hospital from 1965 to 1966. He worked on the staff there for many years. Mr. Wiegel worked in private practice with Dr. Henry Kolakowski and Dr. Francis Cleary, with whom he has remained close friends. Upon retirement, he spent many years working in the tree removal business with his son, Chris. Mr. Wiegel is survived by two sons, Christopher Wiegel and his wife, Maria, of Middletown, Conn., and Kurt Wiegel and his wife, Kristine, of Byron, N.Y.; one daughter, Heidi Gregory and her husband, Douglas, of Avon, Conn.; and three brothers, Knealand Wiegel Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Franklin, Richard Wiegel and his wife, Carolyn, of Franklin, and Shane Wiegel and his wife Sylvia, of Harrisville. Pa and died on 13 Sept 1867. Buried in Dempsey Cemetery, Oakland Twp. Venango Co. Pa. He was married to Martha Bell Kenly. Some question as to her name. Bell could be her mothers maiden name. She was born abt 1795 and died 13 Feb 1861. She is buried in Dempsey Cemetery. I know her daughter Eliza and Martha were early members of the Sunville Church, in Venango Co. I have a look up going on for them. No info yet. I will post when I get the info. I also show them as having 19 children born to this family. DeLong, 57, of 21 Hosack Road, Jackson Center, Jackson Township, Mercer County, died at 2:01 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh, after a three-year battle with cancer. Born Feb. 19, 1951, in Meadville, she was a daughter of Gilbert W. and Suzanne Moine Bobbitt. She was employed as a receptionist at International Timber & Veneer in Jackson Center. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was married July 15, 1967, to Norman L. DeLong, who survives. Survivors also include three sons, Rick J. DeLong of Waynesboro, Va., Steven L. DeLong and his wife, Jennifer, of Hookstown, and Robert L. DeLong of Jackson Center; her mother, Suzanne Bobbitt of Jackson Center; a brother, Guy M. Born Aug. 31, 1940, in Fryburg, he was the oldest son of the late Miles J. Eisenman and Marie I. Eisenman Allaman. Mr. Eisenman was a graduate of St. Michael School in Fryburg and a 1959 graduate of Farmington High School. He entered the U.S. Army upon graduation and became a computer programmer for the military. He served in the Persian Gulf and was stationed in Bahrain before his retirement in 1993 as a data processor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing with his friends and traveling in his motor home. He is survived by three brothers, Thomas Eisenman and his wife, Gloria, of Lucerne, Calif., and Larry Eisenman and Bradley Eisenman, both of Fryburg; a sister, Nancy Schmader and her husband, Garry, of Lucinda; one niece and 10 nephews; and a special friend, Leigh Glenn of Portsmouth, Va. An aunt, Eileen Fletcher, and an uncle, Vince Eisenman, also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Keith, Paul, and David Eisenman. At his request there will be no public viewing or service, and he will be cremated. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Paul E. Smalley, 75, of 2846 Wallaceville Road, Titusville, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at the Titusville Area Hospital. Born Dec. 3, 1932, in Oil City, he was a son of the late William T. and Lillian Penny Smalley. He attended Oakland High School and graduated from Oil City High School in 1950. Mr. Smalley owned and operated Smalley Lumber until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and taking long walks. He also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. In his younger days, he was a baseball player. He loved to sing with beautiful high tenor voice. Mr. Smalley is survived by six children, Sandra Vroman and husband, Richard, Amy Williams and husband, Denny, all of East Titusville, Debra Kolacek and husband, Karl, of Diamond, Barbara Medilovic and husband, Sead, of Erie, Janette Phillips and husband, Todd, of Meadville, and Paul H. Born Sept. 20, 1964, in Franklin, he was the son of the late Russell C. and Mary Parkhurst Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a graduate of Franklin High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Tri-County Industries. Mr. Anderson enjoyed shooting, reading and researching scriptures. He is survived by one sister, Cathy Kaufmann and her husband, Richard, of West Chester; one brother, Russell C. Anderson Jr. and his wife, Kaye, of Wilson, N.C.; and one nephew, Russell C. Dessie Ivabell Bechtel, 78, formerly of McClintockville and a resident of the Golden Living Center in Oil City, died there at 12:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. Born Dec. 29, 1929, in Washington Township, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of George Herbert and Freda Marie Bowser Bechtel. Ms. Bechtel had been a resident of the Golden Living Center, formerly Beverly Health Care, for many years. She enjoyed painting, coloring and embroidering, and she attended church services at Golden Living Center when possible. Ms. Bechtel is survived by one sister, Betty Brannon of Rouseville; one brother, John E. Bechtel of Clarksville, Tenn.; 12 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie L. Griffin; and one brother, James L. Bechtel. Born March 30, 1938, in West Monterey, he was the son of the late Harry Elijah and Lula Belle Bartley DeHart. Mr. DeHart was a graduate of the former Parker High School and served in the U.S. Army, stateside, during the Korean War. He was a long-time employee of Penn Power at New Castle, and he retired from there. He later became a driver for FRM Machine Co. of Emlenton, and he was employed there at the time of his passing. He was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Perry Township, Clarion County. Mr. DeHart enjoyed his family and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he looked forward to golfing, hunting and going to casinos. He is survived by his wife, the former Janet F. She has resided in Warren since the early 1960s and was a 1937 graduate of Farmington High School. She also graduated from the former Hoff Business College. Mrs. Fago served during World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps. She was employed with the former Gold Standard National Bank of Marienville, Carnegie Tech of Pittsburgh in the personnel department and the former Warren National Bank, where she worked for many years. Mrs. Fago was a member of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Fago was very active in the Warren County Pro-Life Organization and served as co-coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy benefit for 13 years. She was an avid reader. She was married July 22, 1972, at Hold Redeemer Roman Catholic Church to Frank A. Fago, who survives. Mrs. Fago is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born March 24, 1917, in Akeley, Warren County, he was a son of the late Charles and Sigrid Anderson Lindquist. He was married July 17, 1943, in Pleasantville, to Jane Benedict, who survives. Mr. Lindquist was a 1935 graduate of Jamestown High School in Jamestown, N.Y., and he also attended Penn State University. He was self-employed in the construction business, building several homes in the area, until his retirement in 1980. He was formerly employed by M.C. Strickland Construction Co. He was a member of Pleasantville Presbyterian Church, where he also served as an elder and deacon. He was a charter member of the Pleasantville Lions Club. Mr. Lindquist was an avid sportsman. He liked the outdoors, taking photographs of wild flowers and nature. He especially enjoyed the areas along Caldwell Creek in Selkirk and Chautauqua Lake. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lindquist is survived by one son, Charles T. Lindquist of Russell; one daughter, Nancy Lindquist-Arencibia and her husband, Victor, of Mt. Tabor, N.J.; two grandsons, Julian and Timothy Arencibia; one great-granddaughter, Deanna Arencibia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
