(Nangle could also be spelt Naugle, Noogle, Nagle)I dont have a death date on them, Jane Nange must have died after the 1870 census and before the 1880 census. Nathaniel must have died after the 1880 census and before the 1900 census, because of his age it would be closer to 1890 then 1900. I would guess between 1880 and 1890. No, I dont think getting marriage records would help at all because back then they didnt list all the info they do today. I have everthing on Francis and her husband Nathaniel (I am trying to find out when and where his father died), I am trying to find Francis's mother, father, siblings and grandparents. I can not find any of them in the census. I did find Francis's mother Mary Jane Burris-Near-Hall in the 1 census living with Francis before she died. I sent away for death certificates on Francis and her mother, that is how I found out who their parents were. I dont have a death date on Francis's father John Near to send for a death certificate, nor do I for Francis's Grandparents Daniel and Annie Burris. If I could find out when and where they died I could send for their death certificates also. Thank you so much for all your help. Have a wonderful day. 3. The Derrick, December 10, 2008: James L. "Jim" Enos, The Villages, Fla., formerly of Oil City Cluster Allen "Bud" Goodman, Marienville HC 3 Keith McFadden, Washington Street, Strattanville Getting it right: Paul E. Beer James L. "Jim" Enos, 74, of The Villages, Fla., formerly of Oil City, left this Earth after a brief illness on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at The Villages Hospital in The Villages, Fla. Mr. Enos died as he had lived, surrounded by his family. Mr. Enos, who was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Oil City, headed the swim program at Oil City High School from its inception in the late 1960s until he took an early retirement from teaching in 1981 and moved to Florida. He and his wife, Kay Enos, raised their four children in Oil City and attended St. Venantius Catholic Church in Rouseville. When the couple retired from teaching and moved to Weirsdale, Fla., it is a testament to the closeness of their family that all four children ultimately relocated nearby. When each of the children married and started families of their own, Mr. Enos, known as "Poppa Coach" to his grandchildren, presided over countless holiday dinners and celebrations that included the entire brood. His distinctively booming voice, honed over years of coaching the Oil City swim team, could always be heard over the crowd during these events, which have gifted his family with countless precious memories. After owning and operating Eaton's Beach in Weirsdale, Fla., for 15 years, Mr. Enos relocated to The Villages, where he embraced the social and sporting life. He was a devoted and longtime volunteer for the Phillips Golf Scramble. After Kay Enos died in 2002, he met Anne and was blessed with another happy marriage. Mr. Enos was an enthusiastic golfer and traveler and crammed much living into the last years of his life. He is survived by his wife, Anne Enos; his children, Dawn Prestipino, Jeff Enos, Tim Enos and Jayne Pheil; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Enos will be missed by his family and a large circle of friends. There will be no formal service according to Mr. Enos' wishes. The family suggests that those who wish to honor Mr. Enos' memory make a donation to the charity of their choice. The Roberts Funeral Home in Ocala, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
