She remembers going to the "Lucas's" when she was younger. I do not know which Lucas. She remembered there were a lot of steps or stairs. Necie was born in 1931 (daughter of Carrie) so she is an alert 78 now....and the only surviving child of Carrie. She also recals when she was young that a brother of Olive and Carrie - "Charles" would visit. She recalls that he was always drunk and wanted her to sit on his knee. She says he was found dead along side the road somewhere. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Here goes again WITH PHOTOS. Olive's yougest sister Carrie was my grandmother who died in 1989 at 96. I am attaching photos of her other sisters MARY and SUZIE, Also I have dozens of photos of Carrie starting with her wedding photo at age 15 to Norman Oscar Bish. I have an original charcoal drawing of JOHN A MILLER probably done about 1870(not sure). I have made a copy which is available and attached. Also have a copy of his civl war citation from 1861-64 that was presented to the family in 1906. I would LOVE a copy of the wedding photo. I do not have any photos of OLIVE Can you attach and send them or is it uploaded somewhere? The photo I have of Martha and John appears to have been super imposed so that they are in the same photo. It is from a different timeframe than the charcoal sketch. I also have a photo that is believed to be John, much later in life If you would like other photos of Carrie-again, I have dozens. Carrie Married Norman Oscar Bish 1910, they had several children and I have photos of all of them. One was my mother MILDRED BISH who married CHARLES METZ and thus here I am. Karen, thanks Ron Metz Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. They moved to Colliers, West Virginia and had my father Raymond Harry Lucas 1914. Then they moved to Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania after the 1920 census was taken. I have the marriage photo of John Miller and Martha Jane Neiswonger. Do you have another photo of them? We acquired some Civil War records for John Miller. His injuries during the war. He drank alot and would blow away his pension money right after he got it so most of the records contain court hearings of Martha pleading with the judge for access to the pension before John gets it and spends it all. The kids were put in homes off and on because she could not afford to keep them. Maybe you heard all this from someone else. They had Miller reunions but I dont have pictures of any of the Miller girls. I have only one of my own grandmother Olive because she died young (1935) at age 50.
