Author: Allyn271 Surnames: Bopp Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.clarion/4031/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Does anyone have access to early baptismal records from St. Michael's at Fryburg? If I remember correctly, some of their early records were published in a parish directory some years ago. I am looking for baptisms which would have occurred between 1845 and 1850, for three children of Joseph Anton Bopp and his wife Maria Magdalena Lang - Joseph 1847, John 1848, and Philip 1850. Their baptismal names could have varied slightly. I have written to the church but got no reply. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Thanks for contacting me. I want to acknowledge your message but cannot take time to compose a reply about BERLIN families for 2 days - I'm involved in a big project. I have some other photos to exchange and compare. Yes I also want to exchange KAHLE information. I have a huge question on them! Are you on Keystone Connections? It is a myfamily.com group that covers 7 counties around Clarion. There are over a hundred on it and many photos and files posted. If you are, you could look it over it you wish. I could get the sponsor of Keystone Connections to send you an invite if you want to look it over. It is by invitation only. She pays all the yearly fees and has done an excellent job - and hopefully she has help! Author: boswell879 Surnames: Berlin Cook Kahle Stover Phipps Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.clarion/2907.4/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I can confirm with certainty the identities of George Berlin, 15 Aug 1820 - 21 Jul 1905 and his wife, Susan Cook Berlin (14 Jan 1825 - 14 Nov 1904) and I also have other photos of George and Susan's family and burial site. There is a very large, framed portrait of Susan Cook owned by my cousin, for whom I identified the subject last summer. I have a picture of the picture and could connect you with the owner. George Berlin and Susan Cook Berlin were the parents of Harriet Berlin Phipps, who along with her husband, Harmon Phipps, unofficially adopted my great-grandma, Alice Stover Kahle. She was raised by the Phipps' as their only child and inherited all their stuff. I'm presently sorting through old photos from the house to identify people. Please contact me for more info. I have Reggie Berlin's book on the family because I'm also a blood Berlin descendant through the Kahles. What a world. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
