I never met your grandfather that I know of, but I remember your grandmother. To me, she was Aunt Jenny. Your grandfather, Lewis, and my grandmother, Edna, were brother and sister. The only sibling still living is Mary. She is in a nursing home in the Buffalo, NY area. I called my mom and told her about your message. She wanted me to ask about your dad. She said he used to be a Forest Ranger but had arthritis real bad and could no longer climb the towers. My mom is Judith Rhodes Upperman. She is one of Alvin & Edna Boyer Rhodes's children. Do you do much family history research? I do it for fun mostly because I've always wanted to know who my ancestors were and what kind of lives they must have had. What Boyer history do you know about. By the time I got my computer program, Grandma was getting more confused and couldn't remember much. I'd love to hear what stories you have and learn more about our family. I've had a hard ti! me finding Samuel and Mary Ellen Burkett Boyer on census records. It's almost like they didn't want to be found. Write back soon and let me know what info you need and I'll see if I can help. Thank you so much once again and it's so nice to meet you. Kim Williams
