I have the Alcola Cem lsiting here somewhere although you probably have seen it. I have visited the cemetery many times and spoke to the 2 women that mow the grass. They told me that headstones were lost to floods down at the bottom of the hill. Red Bank Creek is on one side and the railroad is on the other. This is a very old cemetery. Back with you on the Armagost Line. I have two stories about the first Armagosts in this country. See what you think. First, I have info that suggests the Armagosts paid for substitutes to fight for the colonies against England. Next, I have a report that an Armagost was in Washington's service as one of his bodyguards. Since, the Armagosts were rather large men... I can see why Washington would want large capable men for protection. Do you have any info?
