Ganoe, Westwood Drive, Clarion Elizabeth Sue Ross, Marienville HC 3, formerly of Oil City Kathryn Jane Schritchfield, Lima, Ohio, formerly of Oak Ridge Mary E. "Betty" Shilling, Brookville Bonnie E. Bowser Bonnie E. Bowser, 73, of Knox, died Thursday evening, June 2, 2005, in Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, following a brief illness. Born March 17, 1932, in Bridgeburg, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Pluma Cousins Duncan. She was married June 26, 1953, to Louis D. Bowser, who died June 6, 2000. Mrs. Bowser and her late husband owned and operated the Juli-Ann Tastee-Freeze on Route 38 near Emlenton for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Lu-Ann) Carbaugh of Kennerdell and Julie Elaine Bowser of State College; one son and his wife, Neale and Betty Bowser of Bernville; nine grandchildren, Lisa, Melanie, Jessica, Reid, Jason, Tracy, Katie, Russell and Rhonda; and seven great-grandchildren. She also is survived by one sister, Mrs. Irv (Linda) Trout of Tampa, Fla.; and one brother, William "Bill" Duncan of Kittanning. There will be no public visitation. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lawn Haven Memorial Park, Route 422, Worthington. Interment will be in Lawn Haven. Arrangements are in charge of the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker. John A. Ganoe John A. Ganoe, 74, of Westwood Drive, Clarion, died early Friday evening, June 3, 2005, at his residence. The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Clarion, is in charge of arrangements. A complete obituary will be published Monday in The Derrick. Elizabeth Sue Ross Elizabeth Sue Ross, 48, of Marienville HC 3, formerly of Oil City, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, in the Clarion Hospital. Born June 19, 1956, in Oil City, she was the daughter of Agatha Dillon Gelts of Oil City and the late Walter Lee Gelts Sr. Mrs. Ross attended the Salvation Army in Oil City. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Ross was married to Glenn T. Ross Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Agatha Gelts of Oil City; two sons, Donald Eugene Gelts III and his fiancee, Missy Roberts, and Chad Allen Ross and his fiancee, Tasha Sowers, and one daughter, Jamie Lynn Ross and her fiance, Bob Goodman, all of Oil City; and four grandchildren, Destiny Gelts, Justin Gelts, Dylan Huff Ross and Trenton Huff, all of Oil City. She also is survived by a brother, Walter Lee Gelts Jr. of Oil City; two sisters, Barbara Smathers and husband, Donald, of Oil City, and Wilma Gonzalez and husband, Richard, of Hampton, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter, Makayla Huff. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Major James Foley of the Oil City Salvation Army officiating. Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery. Mary E. 'Betty' Shilling Mary E. "Betty" Shilling, 83, a resident of Jefferson Manor, Brookville, formerly of Hiawatha Street, Brookville, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, in Jefferson Manor. Born June 3, 1921, in Brookville, she was the daughter of James B. and Helen V. Wilson Carroll. Mrs. Shilling worked for the Brookville Glove Co. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville. Mrs. Shilling was married in Allegheny County, Maryland, June 9, 1943, to Robert H. Shilling, who died Feb. 26, 1982. Surviving are four sons, John R. Shilling Sr. of Grand Forks, N.D., Richard L. Shilling Sr. of New Bethlehem, William H. Shilling of Brookville and Edward J. Shilling of Zellwood, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a brother, Benjamin Carroll of Worthington. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Shilling was preceded in death by one brother, William Carroll; and one grandson, Jeffrey Shilling. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Church, Brookville, with the Rev. Joseph Staszewski presiding. Kathryn Jane Schritchfield Kathryn Jane Schritchfield, 83, of Lima, Ohio, formerly of Oak Ridge, died at 12:49 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, at her residence. Born Jan. 16, 1922, in Oak Ridge, she was the daughter of Robert and Nettie Neese Wensel. Mrs. Schritchfield attended Garden City Christian Union Church in Lima, Ohio. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Trinity Chapter 16. Mrs. Schritchfield was a homemaker. She was married June 14, 1947, to Clifford Odell Schritchfield, who died June 21, 1988. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Randy and Dottie Schritchfield of Lake Mary, Fla., and Barry and Garland Schritchfield of Wapakoneta, Ohio; one daughter and husband, Denise and Keith Newman of Wapakoneta, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Lauren Ward, Zach Newman, Alex Newman, Ben Schritchfield, Katie Schritchfield and Amy Schritchfield. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Mark, Robert, Russ and Reve Wensel; a half brother, Frank Wilmer; and a daughter, Cheryl Schritchfield. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Chiles & Sons-Laman Shawnee Chapel, 1170 Shawnee Road, Lima, Ohio. Additional calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Kate Reitz officiating. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Oak Ridge. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Here's how it goes: Simeon Hovey Hagan - born Feb. 9, 1819 - died Aug.16, 1874 - buried Perryville Cem. - had a farm in Hagantown, Clarion Co., Perry Twp., PA Jane Purvey (wife) Children: (1) Simeon Hovey Hagan Jr. born 1846 - lived in St. Petersburg, PA - wife Clarra E. ? (2) Mary E. Hagan born 1847 married a Matthews buried in Perryville Cem. (3) Elsy J. Hagan born 1849 (4) William F. Hagan born 1851 (5) Oliver C. Hagan born 1853 (6) Jerome E. Hagan born 1856 (7) Peter McGuff Hagan born 1857 died 1932 - buried Perryville Cem. wife - Anna Catherine Irwin (8) Theodore B.C. Sanders, formerly of Van James Wilbur "Web" Tarr, Polk Kristen Brooke Bondra, getting it right Jay W. Finefrock, getting it right Harry I. Geer Jr. Harry I. Geer Jr., 79, of 26 Hone Ave., Oil City, died at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at the Oil City Presbyterian Home following an extended illness. He had been a resident there since March 8. Born June 15, 1925, on Linden Avenue, Oil City, he was the son of the late Harry I. Geer Sr. and Orpha Stahlman Watson Geer Hipwell. He attended Pearl Avenue grade school and was a 1943 graduate of Oil City Senior High School. Mr. Geer was a radio operator in the U. S. Army and later served as a corporal with Company B, 728th MP Battalion during the Korean conflict. He had worked at the Worthington Corp. and retired as a machinist with Joy Manufacturing in Franklin. Mr. Geer enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, swimming and going on picnics with his family. He had been a former member of the VFW and the Pulaski Club. He was married June 13, 1959, in St. Joseph Church to the former Helen R. Riley. She preceded him in death Oct. 16, 2002. Mr. Geer is survived by two daughters, Barbara Duncan and her husband Andrew, and Connie Burns and her husband Robert, all of Oil City; six grandchildren, Michael and Kathryn Duncan and Robin, DeeDee, Dixie and Donald McClintock Jr.; a son-in-law, Donald McClintock of Oil City; a sister, Helen Kubista of the Oil City Presbyterian Home; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Faith Ann McClintock, and a brother, W. Wade Watson. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. today in the Reinsel Funeral Home, 116 Bissell Ave., Oil City. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Msgr. John W. Swoger, pastor of St. Joseph Church, presiding. Internment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the VNA Foundation, 176 E. Bissell Ave., Oil City 16301. Robert J. Hill Robert J. Hill, 73, of 221 Glenn Drive, Franklin, died at 12:58 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2005, at his residence. Born July 28, 1931, in Zelienople, he was the son of Florence Isabelle Graham and Robert LeRoy Hill. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. From 1952 to 1954 he was with the 25th Infantry Division where he received a Bronze Star, Korean Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. Mr. Hill was previously employed by Atlantic Richfield in Port Arthur, Texas. He also managed and operated two service stations in Franklin. He was employed by Koppers, worked in the local auto parts business including RPS, Worldwide Auto Parts and he managed NAPA Auto Parts until the store closing. Following his retirement, Mr. Hill work part-time at KMART and Buyer's Fair. He was also a bus driver for Head Start. He was active in many organizations and was post vice commander, Dist. 2 chief of staff at VFW Post No. 6384 in Nederland, Texas, from 1967 to 1968. He was a member of the American Legion Post 476, Franklin and a life member of VFW Post 1835 in Franklin where he also served as chaplain. Mr. Hill was a member of the East Grove United Methodist Church. He was an avid and expert outdoorsman and guitar player. He was a devoted friend to his pets, especially his dogs Prancer and Lucky. He was married Feb. 19, 1973, to the former Cynthia Brison and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hill is survived by a son, Michael R. Hill of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Susan Dechant and her husband Thomas of Franklin, Rita Stadler and her husband Orville III and Roberta Krenek and her husband Victor, all of Oil City; and four grandchildren, Leah Siemens and her husband Shaun of Alberta, Canada, and Evan, Kyle and Naomi Dechant of Franklin. He is also survived by a niece, Jaqueline Graham Milano of Philadelphia; a nephew, John Graham of Houston, Texas; a brother-in-law, Steve Brison and his wife Heather of Franklin; special nieces, Amanda and Sara Brison of Franklin; and cousins in Texas and Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Louise Busch on June 7, 1970; a son, Donald Jameson Hill; a brother, Jack Graham; a grandson, Levi Dechant; and a nephew, William Graham. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Sanders, 72, of Howard, Ohio, formerly of Van, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the Laurels of Mt. Vernon. Among her survivors are her husband, John Sanders of Howard; and a sister, Donna Johns and her husband, William, of Cranberry. James Wilbur "Web" Tarr James Wilbur "Web" Tarr, 74, of 123 Main Street Extension, Polk died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday June 1, 2005, in The Caring Place. Born Feb. 6, 1931, in Franklin, he was the son of Herbert B. and Isabelle McClelland Tarr. Mr. Tarr was a graduate of Franklin High School. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army from 1950-1951. Mr. Tarr was retired from Polk Center where he had been employed as a groundskeeper. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and the Albright Sunday school class of the church. He enjoyed flowers, woodworking, hunting, fishing and camping. On May 25, 1974 he married the former Wynona I. "Lolly" Lane, who survives. Also surviving are a son, James Steven Tarr Sr. and his wife Debbie of Franklin; two stepsons, James R. Kilgore and his wife Pam of Polk and Robert K. Kilgore and his wife Carol of Titusville; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters, Anna Margaret Warner and her husband Dudley, Betty Walker, all of Meadville, Joan Latshaw and her husband Arden of Cranberry and Patty Hayes of Franklin; two brothers, Mike Tarr of Oil City and Bob Tarr and his wife Jean of Sandy Lake; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Tarr was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Floyd; an infant brother, Sammy; a sister-in-law, Joan Tarr; two brothers-in-law, Bill Hayes and Homer Walker; and two grandchildren. 'Hun' Brown Evelyn C. "Hun" Brown, 92, of 351 Causeway Drive, Franklin, died at 5:42 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Feb. 14, 1913, in Reno, she was the daughter of Samuel C. and Anna Heintzleman Confer. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She was married Dec. 22, 1946, to Frank A. Brown, who died in 1970. Phyllis Carter Phyllis Carter, 78, of 369 Sugarcreek Drive, Franklin, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Sept. 22, 1926, in Bradleytown, she was the daughter of Christen Plummer Cauvel and Blanche Shields Cauvel. Mrs. Carter was retired from County Home. She was a member of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church. Mrs. Carter also was a member of the Franklin VFW Auxiliary, Franklin American Legion and Franklin Moose Auxiliary. She volunteered for a number of years at Venango Manor after her retirement. Mrs. Carter enjoyed fishing at her camp at Sugar Lake. She was married Oct. 5, 1942, to Homer T. Carter, who died in 1996. Mrs. Distefano was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School in Fremont, Ohio. She attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, from 1967 to 1971, studying political science. She continued her education at Clarion State College, now Clarion University, from 1972 to 1982, graduating magna cum laude in 1979 with a bachelor of arts degree in history. In 1979 she also received her master's degree in history, followed by her Instructional I Certificate in secondary education in 1982. During her graduate studies in 1983-1984, Mrs. Distefano was chosen as a graduate assistant in the history department at Clarion University and taught for one semester there. From 1982 to 1995, she served as a substitute teacher for five area schools including long term substitute teaching positions at Clarion Area High School and East and West Forest schools. At Forest Area, she also served as volleyball coach. In 1995, she began teaching full-time at North Clarion High School at Tionesta RD where she taught sociology, psychology, American government and western civilization. She also served as the advisor to the National Honor Society, Student Council and the prom/banquet committees. Mrs. Distefano was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, traveling, watching the Steelers and Penguins and spending time with her grandchildren and her cat, Bubba. She was married in Bowling Green, Ohio. Aug. 18. 1969, to Vincent Distefano Sr. of Leeper. He survives, along with her mother. Also surviving are two sons, Vincent C. Distefano Jr. and wife, Laura, of Lancaster and Anthony G. Distefano and his friend, Heather, of Harrisonburg, Va.; and two grandchildren, William and Michael. She also is survived by three half sisters, Margie Hille of Sandusky, Ohio, Judy Schlea of Fremont, Ohio, and Carol Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one brother, David Hoffman of Brick, N.J.; her mother-in-law, Angelina Distefano of Vowinckel; a brother-in-law, Tom Distefano and wife, Nancy, of Clarion; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Angela, and her father-in-law, Anthony Distefano. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Borland Funeral Home Inc. in Leeper. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Church, Crown, with the Rev. Denny Veltri presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arlene McEntire Ernst Arlene McEntire Ernst, 80, of Anaheim, Calif., formerly of Franklin, died Jan. 5, 2005, of cancer. She was born June 6, 1924, to Everett and Esther McEntire of Conneaut Lake. Mrs. Ernst was a 1940 graduate of Meadville High School. On Sept. 1, 1943, she married Charles F. Ernst and also graduated from Edinboro State Teachers College. Her husband preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Ernst taught school in Greenville and in Franklin at 14th Street School and at Sandy Creek Elementary School. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. In 1977, Mrs. Ernst and her husband retired to Anaheim, Calif., where she was a member of the Anaheim Senior Citizens Club. She was an avid bridge player. Surviving are a daughter, Linda S. Hager and her husband, Delmar G. Hager,9 of Austin, Texas; and grandchildren, Charlotte of Louisville, Ky., Ruthann, Regina, Daniel and Laela Hager. She also is survived by a brother-in-law, Dick Kennedy of Greenville; a nephew, Jon Kennedy of Charlotte, N.C.; and a niece, Kathy Kennedy of Sheridan, Wyo. Malone Haskins. He attended high school in Coraopolis. Mr. Haskins served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1971. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the 1st Marine Division I Corps where he received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. Interment will be in Parker Presbyterian Cemetery. Jack R. Heyison Jack R. Heyison, 91, of 601 Cowell Ave., Oil City, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in Sugar Creek Station, Franklin. Born Aug. 6, 1913, in Oil City, he was the son of Joseph and Ida Fisher Heyison, both immigrants from what is now Kannas Province Lithuania. Mr. Heyison was a lifelong member of the Oil City YMCA where he developed his intense love of athletics, particularly basketball and handball. He continued playing basketball at Oil City High School where he was a star guard on the 1929 and 1930 teams. Winning an athletic scholarship at Penn State, he played basketball and tennis and was elected president of his fraternity, Phi Sigma Delta. After graduating in 1935, he attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School, graduating in 1938 as a member of the Order of Coif. Mr. Heyison returned to Oil City and began his general law practice in 1939, practicing for almost 60 years. He was a member of the Venango County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Association. In the late 1960s he became a member of the Oil City Charter Commission and helped organized the city's current form of government. He also played a leading role in the Oil City Centennial Commission in 1971 and was elected to Oil City Council, serving from 1972 to 1976. Mr. Heyison was a former trustee and lifelong member of the Tree of Life Synagogue, a long serving director of the Oil City YMCA and the Allegheny AAA, a member of the Oil City Elks where he was a past exalted ruler, and a member of Wanango Country Club where he was an avid golfer, complementing his love of tennis and handball. On July 26, 1953, he married the former Florence Recht of Aliquippa and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Joseph Heyison of Stamford, Conn., and Michael Heyison of Wellesley, Mass.; and four grandchildren, Brenda, Alex, Caila and Hilary. In addition to his parents, Mr. Heyison was preceded in death by a brother, Abe Heyison; and two sisters, Rose Landskroner and Sylvia Sokolsky. On Jan. 27, 1981, he married the former Martha Jean Sanford. They moved from Oil City to Charlotte in March 2002. McAninch, 411 Liberty St., Franklin Sandra Jane Barr Ventura, Houston, Texas, formerly of Rimersburg Laura A. Cramer, gettiing it right L. Diane Burke L. Diane Burke, 63, of Scrubgrass Township, Emlenton, died Tuesday afternoon, May 31, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca, following an illness. Born Jan. 11, 1942, in Kane, she was the daughter of June M. Rossman Best Stewart of Knox and the late Harvey L. Best. She was a 1960 graduate of Keystone Area High School, Knox. Mrs. Burke was employed for a number of years at Rhea Wholesale Corp., later SORCE, near Clarion. She later became employed by Hickman Lumber Co. of Lisbon and Emlenton where she held the position of office manager at the time of her death. In addition to her full-time occupation, she handled the bookkeeping for several businesses in the local area. Mrs. Burke was a longtime member of East Unity Presbyterian Church in Cherry Valley Borough where she served as secretary-treasurer and clerk of session. A devoted Christian worker, she prepared the church bulletin for many years. Reading and studying the Bible was a passion for Mrs. Burke. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Emlenton for many years. Mrs. Burke was extremely devoted to her family and was fascinated with the planting and maintaining beautiful floral gardens at the family residence as well as the care of the grounds surrounding her home. She was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed playing the piano in the privacy of her home, especially playing and singing hymns. Mrs. Burke was a member of the Foxburg Country Club and was a member of the Tuesday Night Ladies Golf League at the club. She was married in St. Mark Church in Monroe, Clarion County, April 22, 1960, to Paul E. Burke, who survives. Also surviving are her mother of Knox; two sons, John P. Burke and wife, Stacy, of Pleasantville and Jeffrey L. Burke and fiancee, Dina Kephart, of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren, Sarah, Annah, Noah and Avah Burke, all of Pleasantville. She also is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Best and wife, Melanie, and Ronald Best and wife, Rosie, all of Knox; one sister, Dolores Ritts and husband, Roger, of Knox; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Mrs. Burke was preceded in death by her stepfather, "Russ" Stewart, formerly of the Knox area. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home Inc., Main Street, Route 38, Eau Claire. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the East Unity Presbyterian Church, Cherry Valley Borough. Interment will be in the East Unity Church Cemetery. Jay W. Finefrock Jay W. Finefrock, 84, formerly of Shippenville, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in Clarion Hospital. Born May 10, 1921, he was the son of Frank W. and Ada May Stopp Finefrock. Mr. Finefrock farmed for many years and retired from Owens-Illinois in Clarion. After his retirement and the sale of the family farm, he turned to vegetable, fruit and flower gardening and could be found in his yard tending to his plants from early spring to fall. Mr. Finefrock was a member of Manor United Methodist Church and also was an active member of Murphy Grange. He was married April 24, 1943, to Alma Marjorie Finefrock, who preceded him in death. Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Nancy and Butch Campbell of Clarion; five grandchildren, Bradley Knight and wife, Julie, of Knox, Scott Knight and wife, Cindy and Patrick Knight and wife, Beverley, all of Orlando, Fla., Kyle Campbell of Monroeville and Kari Campbell of Clarion; and two great-grandchildren, Anna and Bradley. He also is survived by one brother, Robert Finnefrock of Clarion; and two sisters, Hazel Pavlick of Sharon and Doris Carunga of Clarion. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Finefrock was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Finefrock; a brother, Edwin Finefrock; and a sister, Betty Rhodes. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Clarion. Visitation also will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the Manor United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with the Rev. Jerry Belloit, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Kirk Orr of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarion. Interment will be in the Sligo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Manor United Methodist Church or to the Clarion-Forest VNA. Jane J. McAninch Jane J. McAninch, 76, of 411 Liberty St., Franklin, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in Sugar Creek Station, Franklin. Born Feb. 12, 1929, in Franklin, she was the daughter of George E. and Ethelee Ross Jolley. Mrs. McAninch worked since 1975 for the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home Inc. and also worked for other Franklin families doing housekeeping. She was associated with B.P.O. Elks No. 110 of Franklin where she played duckpin bowling. She also enjoyed bingo. Mrs. McAninch was married Aug. 20, 1948, to Clarence H. "Mac" McAninch, who died Aug. 26, 1988. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Rhonda) Steigerwald Sr. of Mercer, Mrs. Andy (Amy) Richey of Franklin and Mrs. Kenneth (Jamey) Botts of Stoneboro; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Steigerwald Jr. and wife, Wendy, Zachary Richey and Mackenzie Richey, all of Franklin, Joseph Steigerwald of Grove City, Jennifer Steigerwald of Mercer and Katie Botts and Erin Botts, both of Stoneboro; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Steigerwald and Emily Steigerwald, both of Franklin. She also is survived by a brother, R.C. Jolley and wife, Ann, of Alantic; and two sisters, Ms. Sue Lee and Ms. Jean Blandin, both of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. McAninch was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Jolley. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald C. Bole, VNA Hospice minister, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
