Wanda in NC and others, I was not aware that there was going to be an increase in cost for the birth and death certificates. It is best that you send a check payment or money order payment for each individual request. I have also been told to send them in individual envelopes. This way you get the best possible opportunity for a response. If you send multiple requests in one envelope with one payment, it will be more likely that the archivist will not know who all the requests go to if there is only one payment. Also, you will want to send along those self addressed stamped envelopes for your request return. Depending on how many requests you make, they all may not fit into the same envelope and if they do, the postage may not be sufficent. Sharon Chester County PA
