I wondered if you might be able to research an obituary for me??? I have found out my Birth parents names and unfortunately my B-father is deceased. Harold William Gilger was born Jan 28 1943 and he died in March of 1973 His wife is Ruth Marlean (Hobbs) Gilger -- They have three children I was their forth - but was placed for adoption. They were living in Chester when I was born. (1966) That is all I know. I wondered if you lived in the Chester area if you would/could research at a library the actual obituary as it was printed in the Chester Times. I believe they changed the name of the paper to Delaware County Times. But I'm not sure what name it was in 1973. Anyhow, I found out that the Widener Library would probably have it. I called and they said that they wouldn't search for me that I had to come in. I live in CT and it would be about 3 1/2 hour drive for me.
