    1. A New RALSTON Discovery!

    3. I just had the first real RALSTON discovery I have had for quite a time, and so am excited by it... I am cross-posting to Rootsweb's Philly-Roots and Chester County email list because of its two-county involvement. "Historical Homes and Institutions and Genealogical and Personal Memoirs of Chester and Delaware Counties, Pennsylvania", Vol. 2, edited by Gilbert Cope and Henry Graham Ashmead, Lewis Publishing Company, New York, 1904: "On October 2, 1855, Mr. Woodward married Sarah Ralston, who was born February 13, 1831, a daughter of George and Hannah Ralston, and granddaughter of John Ralston. One child was the issue of this union - H. Bell, born July 14, 1856. Now the above must be, as I interpret it: George Sr RALSTON m. Margaret BELL (by birth, and married first to Edward PASCHALL) Issue: Mary Ann RALSTON - my connection George Jr RALSTON (my deduction based on the above info) Margaret Bell Paschall RALSTON had, for a father, Humphrey BELL. OK. Now George Jr. RALSTON m. a Hannah Someone They have a daughter, Sarah, who married this WOODWARD, and have a son, doubtless Humphrey Bell WOODWARD! Does anyone on either list have anything at all, however small, that makes any connection here? Or has a database of relevant information? Thanks! Vince Summers
