I made one small (yeah, right!) mistake. H. Bell WOODWARD was not Humphrey Bell WOODWARD, but a female. The H is (as of now) unknown, though, curiously, there *was* an H. Bell WOODWARD who fits the bill, and was known as Humphrey Bell WOODWARD. So it is not certain the Gender entry in the cited text was not incorrect. Why can't these things ever be clear-cut?
