My great grandmother, Jane Elizabeth Essig, was born in Chester County August 2, 1841. She had two siblings, Anna C., born in Chester County August 16, 1824 and John. I have no information about her parents or about her brother John. Alternative spellings include Essick and Esag. She was also known as Jennie.
