Dear Mary, I posted that message last year after visiting my brother in Downingtown. Kay Torpey on this list wrote & told me it was Lower Burial Ground of the Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church, and that the initials I.S. were for Isaac Smith who put up the money for the gate & is buried in the cemetery.
