The only John or Henry Lynton/Linton (& variations) I could find in Chester County born in March of 1850 was born to James and Esther Lynton in East Caln Twp, Chester, PA. This may or may not be him but it gives you a lead to find his birth record. It would appear he is living with a relative in 1870, also by the name of James Linton, age 26. Older brother not shown at home in 1850? Hope this helps. Kind regards, Sue Hardy ~~~~ Sources: 1850 US Census. East Caln Twp, Chester, PA. Roll: M432_766. Page: 256. Taken: August 27, 1850. He was my great grandfather, and the only information I have is that he was born on March 3,1850 in Chester County, PA. He might have changed his name from Linton to Lynton. He married Laura Lavender in Animas City, Colorado sometime in the 1870s. Would especially like to know who his parents and siblings were. > > Thanks > Bev Newton > > > ==== PACHESTE Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe from regular mail mode on this list, send a message to: > [email protected] > Put only the word unsubscribe in the body of your message.
