    2. Hi, I am also a subscriber to Ancestry.com and have been since about 1998. I feel that they have increased their size considerably and have gone to some expense to do so. If you will notice Ancestry.com is not the only one that is doing this. MyFamily.com used to be free and you could set up your family site and communicate with other family members by invitation and now they charge for the same thing. I subscribe to all of Ancestry.com and I have called them to say, that since I have all their packages that I should have a discount. I have subscribed at different times to different databases so they give me the discount. I can understand your being incensed but everything goes up in price anymore and you are getting less and less for the money. Groceries are another good example of this mentality. I have found so much on Ancestry.com that I would have had to go to many places to get the same information that I feel the cost is justified. Take care, Judy Minihan Researching the Robert Patton Family of Chester and Lancaster Counties, PA. 1730-1760

    3. Ancestry.com, Genealogy.com and I believe Myfamily.com are all owned by the same company... Why they don't just consolidate them is obviously just so that they can get more money from thier customers who don't know that they are all one company... Their only reason is to get as much money as they can possibly get! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, May 02, 2004 3:51 PM Subject: Re: [PACHESTE] off topic - Ancestry users only > Hi, > > I am also a subscriber to Ancestry.com and have been since about 1998.
