    1. [PACHESTE] Roll Call- Youngblood, Donnell, Varley
    2. Happy New Year! I am still searching for more information on the Youngblood family of Charlestown Township, Chester Co. PA. John Youngblood died in 1821 He was married to Jane Donnell of Ireland, and they had one son, Isaac, b. 1820. Jane re-married and removed to Mercer Co. I have information on Isaac and his descendants, but would like more on the ancestors. All I know about John was that he was in the War of 1812, and was supposedly Cherokee (but I doubt that). John's parent's were John Youngblood (b. abt 1756 and d. abt 1806) and Magdalene Varley who d. abt 1810 in Charlestown. I believe this John was the son of Johannes Jungblut who came from Germany, but would like to find more proof of that. Magdalene was the daughter of John and Catherine Varley. Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated, and I am happy to exchange info. with others who might be connected to them as well! Linnea in CA

    3. Linnea, You can probably get John Youngblood's estate papers from the Chester Co Archives. He died intestate, Charlestown, and administrator was Daniel Showalter appointed 1/30/1821. see this link: http://www.chesco.org/archives/probate.htm or try the Orphan's Court submenu! For $10, they will send you what is in all files! Very nice folks there!
