In an email today, Charlene states: "...Walter and John WINTER were hung July 03, 1728 Cuccasea, Chester Co Pennsylvania for killing what they thought were "hostile" Indians." Does anyone recognize that place name: Cuccasea? This incident probably took place in what is now Delaware County, possibly in the area immediately south of Philadelphia along the Delaware River.
