Good morning all, I'm trying to find the parents of William A. JACKSON who was born December 25, 1828 in the area of Chetser County near the Cecil Co. MD border. I know his mother's name is Lydia but no clue as to his father's name. Lydia was still alive in 1865 according to a statement on William's Civil War pension records. He married Isabella Reynolds July 5, 1849 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Justice of the Peace Amos Bye performed the marriage ceremony. His date of death is reported as 22 January 1865; dying as a POW at the Salisbury Confederate Prison in Salisbury, North Carolina. No obituary has been found. Tina in Florida
