A Roll Call is usually called for when a list has gotten very quiet. For Roll Call, you respond by listing the names/dates you are researching in that particular area. Often it perks up the list because members see names/dates they haven't seen in a while or were not aware were being researched...and the hope is that maybe someone might have some new info....It works basically as a reminder... While one person did complain, I assume they'd never been through a Roll Call before. In the case of a Roll Call, you should be quite aware of what will be listed in the message if "Roll Call" is in the subject line. ----- Original Message ----- From: "M. A.
