No William F YOUNG shows up on the Census in 1920-30. 1920 Census, Chester, Delaware Co PA , Ward 1, Dist 116, page 1B, image 4: 307 72nd or 22nd St William K Young salesman in bakery, PA, Scotland, MI, age 27, owns home Gertrude Young PA MD PA, age 26 William K Young PA PA PA, age 2y1month 1930 Census Dist 8, Chester, Delaware Co PA, page 26a, image 195 residence 107 E 22 St. William K or R Young, age 37, married at age 22, PA, Scotland, MI, agent insurance, owns home Gertrude wife age 35, PA, MD, PA, first married at age 21 Elizabeth E dau age 7, PA PA PA, attending school No indication of a prior marriage for Gertrude. This is the only Gertrude with a husband William in the Census of that time. SSDI has a William YOUNG born 6/23/1892, died in Royersford, Montgomery Co PA in 5/1972. Also another William Young born 10/23/1892, died Rossiter, Indiana Co PA in 7/1973. Hope this helps. Young, born 1/23/1892 in Hatfield, Montgomery Co, Pa. In 1900 he was living at home with his parents Abraham R. Young and Amanda H Fosbenner Young. Subsequently, she died and the boys were apparently separated. I don't know what happened to him but he evidently ended up in Philadelphia, Pa. and married a Gertrude (last name unknown) who was called "Gertie". She was previously married and brought 2 boys into the marriage. I believe they were teenagers around 1920. Can anyone find William and Gertrude Young on the 1920 or 1930 census? I don't know when they married or when they died.
