I recently ran across information that leads me to Chester Co. PA. In a letter I received the writer states that her grandfather George C. Righter was born in Chester Co. abt 1840. And she listed his brothers as: Charlie, and John and a sister Annie. More info in the letter has tied her to my family. If anyone out there has information on the following family I would really appreciate hearing from you. John Righter born 1801. ((There is a John Righter listed in the Admin papers of a John Righter born about 1753 in Chester and died 23 Feb 1815 in Brandywine, Chester Co. His wife's name was Ann (no last name). Joseph Mary Jesse (over the age of 14 years -had appointed guardian) John (over the age of 14 years - had appointed guardian) ((mathematically could have been born in 1801)) Eliza (under the age of 14 years - had appointed guardian) John Righter (b. 1801) married a Mary or Margaret CLINTON or possibly CLAYTON.
