As a child my mother remembers her grandmother talking about going to Quaker church meetings. She wishes now that she'd asked more questions about this. Apparently her grandmother had Quaker roots. I'd, of course, like to figure out where these ties are, but have no idea where to begin. This lady, my great grandmother, was very much a Cecil County, Maryland girl. Born and raised in the town of Elkton as was her father before her. I believe that the Quaker roots must come from her mother's side. She was born in PA and *her* father had ties to Chester County. I know that the Quaker records are supposed to be excellent, but where do I begin? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Melissa F.
