There is an auction on eBay for a bunch of funeral cards and letters from Chester County - from the late 1890s to maybe mid 1950s. I have NO INTEREST in this auction and do NOT know anything more about it. This to you comes from the estate of a Post Mortem collector who recently fell asleep, Richard Green of Chester County PA. His occupation as a grave excavator sparked his interest in cemetery collectables and he must have been gathering for years. He had plans to open up a Post Mortem Museum and he never got the chance. I will be listing photographs, Black Mourning portiere panels, face powder, embalming glass bottles, White glass urn, paper ephemera, Hearst carriage magazines, baby photography, books, death certificates, stationary, chantilly lace fan and other mortician/embalming coffin related items. Even velvet fabric silk velvet textile samples, catalog, coffin liner with pillow and more ~! He saved some of the most incredible things, so stay tuned if you collect Gothic, morbid or blood related funeral/cemetery ephemera, he even had accident scenes with nurse attendant etc!
