Hi All, I am new to this site. Am looking for any family history information that would lead me to Chester county PA. on the James(David)Davis family information. I found this link to Chester county PA. from family history on the Jonathan Davis family at the library in Winchester KY., Clark county. This Jonathan Davis passed away in 1826, Clark Co. KY., and had a brother named Septimus Davis. Information in KY. leads me to believe the father of this Jonathan Davis was from near Tredyffrim township, and his name was James Davis who passed away in 1802, and probably buried at the baptist church in the great valley, near Devon, PA.
