    2. Hi list, I apologize for being late in posting this info. I received the following from Dave Kavanagh on the 12th of Dec. Hello Sun Ship Crew and Friends: This is a copy of a posting that went out in the Delco Daily Times for a group of identical exhibit tours that will be held at the Delaware County Historical Library and Museum. I was thinking about maybe having a Sun Ship gathering there on the Jan. 19th. Please let me know if your interested and of course, you can come to any of the tours, (or all three!!!). Obviously, some of you will not be able to make it and I just wanted you to know that we are still flying the Sun Ship flag whenever possible. If you would like to be add or removed from the Sun Ship mailing list, please let me know at: davek@cdmint.com Sun Ship Historical Exhibit The Sun Ship Historical Society and the Delaware County Historical Society opened an exhibit on the history of the Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. of Chester, PA on October 6th, 2007, the same day of the dedication of the Sun Ship, state historical marker in front of Harrah’s Race Track and Casino in Chester, PA. Sun Ship Exhibit Tours The Sun Ship Historical Society will be performing a series of conducted tours of the exhibit as well as a film on shipbuilding at Sun Ship in 1967 featuring Sun’s gas turbine ship the Wm. M. Callaghan. The exhibit includes many Sun Ship original artifacts including; S.S. Apollo builders plate, cast model of a Sun Doxford diesel engine, launching memorabilia, 14 foot half hull model, Chelsea ships clocks and a Sun Ship historical time line.
