JOHN D. McCARRON, 79, of Honey Brook, Pa., with relatives in MONMOUTH COUNTY JOHN D. McCARRON, 79, of Honey Brook, Pa., with relatives in MONMOUTH COUNTY, died Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Brandywine Hospital, Coatsville, Pa. Born in Bayonne, he was the son of the late Daniel H. and Josephine Cororan McCarron. He was the husband of Jacqueline Williams McCarron, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. John retired after 40 years as a general contractor with Daniel McCarron & Sons of Elizabeth. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed working and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. John also held a private pilot license and enjoyed flying as a pastime. He was predeceased by a sister, Marilyn McCarron. He is survived by four sons, Daniel McCarron of Stafford, Va., John D. McCarron of Manalapan, and James and Stephen McCarron, both of New York City; five daughters, Nancy McCarron-Lubisco of Ocean Township, Miki McCarron of Amber, Pa., Jonne McCarron of Montclair, Beatrice McCarron of Annapolis, Md., and Mary Jo Hummel of Ellicott City, Md.; a sister, Cathleen Pantone of Marlboro; and 13 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Labs Funeral Home, 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, Pa. Interment will be held privately.
