I need help locating the county of settlement of specific Swiss immigrants who arrived in Phil on the Ship Sally on Nov 10, 1767. The families of interest include Johannes Tschudy, Martin Tschudi the Bonis, and Jacob Roppel (spelled Gobell on one list and Bobell on another) However, Jacob's name appeared on the orginal immigrant lists between the Tschudys above/ Jacob's wife's name was Margaret Tschudy and his daughter Margaret and son Han Jacob Roppel. If Jacob and family actually settled in PA, name could have been spelled as some variant of Roppel or Ruple. Please advise if you know exactly where these families settled so I can focus on research there to try and reconstuct Jacob's life. Thanks so much!!
