"They" say it helps if you can determine the religious affiliation of your ancestors. That this should be helpful in determining what church and location they may have lived. Well, I can go back 4 generations with church affiliation or burials in church cem. Since there are several different denominations, I'm hoping someone may be able to suggestion a common thread that may help in determining the religious affiliation of their ancestors. This is what I have and I'm open for suggestions: Father, John Righter, b. 1914 MD. d 1982 FL, raised Presbyterian G-father, Richard M. Righter, b. 1883 MD. d. 1964 MD, Presbyterian G-G-father, Charles Righter, b. 1835 PA. d. 1918 MD, buried Wards Chapel Methodist Church Cem., Balto. Co, MD. (he's in 1850 Lower Dublin, Phil. PA census) ((Sister Emeline (Righter) Banes also buried at Wards Chapel)) G-G-G-father, John Righter b. 1801 PA d. 1880 MD, buried in Union Cem. Burtonsville, MD (cem. has no church affiliation and couldn't find any for John) Thanking you for any help, Jacqui in FL ************************************** Get a sneak peak of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
