RE: West Chester cemeteries - My husband grew up there and his parents are buried in St. Agnes Catholic, so he was able to tell me the following: The cemetery, Chestnut Grove is largely if not exclusively, African American. Not sure there have been burials there recently. Ruth Mt. Airy MD pacheste-request@rootsweb.com wrote: Today's Topics: 1. PA Book (Alan Buckingham) 2. They are side by side, just like Oakland and St Agnes. The southernmost is Oakland Friends and the other is Chestnut Grove. There is a small creek running through all four and it may divide Oakland Friends and Chestnut Grove. Oakland and St Agnes I believe have defined borders. Hope this helps a little bit. McCormick Studio in Oxford, Pennsylvania. The photograph was likely taken in the 1890's with Will appearing to be in his 50's at the time. I am hoping to locate someone from Will's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks Fred. No I haven't had a chance to check Bland yet. I trying to get caught up notes. At the moment I am trying to figure out why Frank Ebbs was shown as living with Lytle's on the 1910 census record & Beck's on the 1920 records with Gray's on the same page. There were 2 Ebbs girls Helen Gertrude & Mable Irene living with their Beck grandparents on the 1900 census records in Halfmoon. Frank's birth date matches around the birth of these Beck/Ebbs girls father Harry Gray Ebbs b. 02/28/1963 so, I guess he couldn't be an unknown missing child of Harry's then. I will have to add Wilbur to the list. Thanks for checking & the reply.
