This was the entire email to my own email address; "I am interested in the surname WHITE, with given names of: Joseph, John &/or Josiah before 1796." Read that and tell me how could anyone could know what was wanted, or from where? This happens all the time When it does, I then have to send an email, explaining that there is insufficient information to do the lookup, and what is needed. Many I know simply disregard incomplete queries such as this, but I hate to do that...so, PLEASE everybody, when you place a query anywhere, to me or to someone else, keep in mind that the we don't know you from Adam, haven't the slightest idea what county or state you are researching in, etc....we know nothing about you and your research but what you tell us, so give everything needed to help you...name, applicable dates ( aprox. ones if you don't know the actual ones), if you're wanting a birth, death, marriage, will, whatever), and include the geographic area! It is also helpful if you will put the name of the CD or book you wish your lookup done from in the subject slot. That way I can tell just which book to get down...... Spell out exactly what you want......I personally do lookups for several different counties in 4 different states, so be specific with your data....... These are the Joseph and John White wills before the date you give...there was nothing for Josiah. Sandra . Pennsylvania Wills, 1682-1834 WHITE, JOSEPH. Nottingham. Carpenter. March 13, 1731/2.
