I wish to thank the many people who responded to my query on the above subject, the response was overwhelming. My Mothers name was Marie(Dale) McAleese and she was born there in 1904. Her Mother and Father were Ernest & Arabelle Dale. I am researching the McAleese & Dale Families who were in Chester County in the late 1890s and early 1900s. Anyone who would have any information about these two families I would appreciate the information you may have, The McAleese line in Chester County were my Paternal Grandparents Francis H McAleese & Mary(Lahey)McAleese.My Paternal GGrandparents were Thomas McAleese & Margaret McAleese, both of these families were located in West Brandywine Twshp according to the 1900 Federal Census.
