    3. Much too good to be true, in fact. These FamilyDiscovery people are charging for access to a list of links, many of which are part of the USGenWeb Project, that are completely free of charge. Basically, they want to lure you in to something that's already free to anyone, so while they're not technically a fraud, they aren't providing anything that isn't already readily available. And from what I've seen of their Pennsylvania listings, they don't have very much to offer either; for the entire state, there might be three dozen links, and none of them at all from the Chester area. Pretty poor showing, I would say. I found it quite annoying to see someone trying to make a buck off the hard work done voluntarily by so many others. -Mary listowner, PACHESTE-L http://www.rootsweb.com/~pacheste/chester.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: Alan Townsend <art4dodger@earthlink.net> To: <PACHESTE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 06, 2000 7:11 PM Subject: [PACHESTE] Familydiscovery.com > Hi lists, > I have been contacted by the above online genealogy data base asking > me to subscribe.
