Looking for info to exchange with folks interested in the above surnames circa 1770-1810 from Chester Co. David Jonkien/Junkins/Jenkins/Jinkin - died c. 1793 in Oxford, Chester Co. PA; I need a date, cemetery/family plot name, and would like to know if Oxford is a twp. or a community name; I would like to find out if he has a headstone. David was married to Jane Russell in Ireland and she died between 1770 and 1780 in E. Nottingham Twp. Chester Co. PA; I need a cemetery and would love to find out if she has a headstone. David may have remarried to a lady named Ann. My line is indicated with an *. David and Jane had 5 children: 1. John Junkins, b. 1744 in Ireland and died circa 1750 in Oxford, Chester Co. PA. Any additional info would be most appreciated. 2*. Hannah Junkins, b. 1747 in Ireland and married first, James Douglass*, circa 1769 in Oxford, Chester Co. PA. There is some connection of James to the given name of Abraham but I cannot identify it; any help would be very much appreciated. James is said to have purchased a 239 acre farm in 1770 in East Nottingham Twp. that was sold in 1795 by his 2 sons (David and James*) and 1 daughter-in-law (Elizabeth, married to David). I can't seem to locate where I would try to confirm this info, so any suggestions, film #'s or books would be most appreciated. James died c. 1774, the year his second son, James (Jr.) was born. James Douglas(s)'s estate may be listed in the "Letters of Administration" issued Dec. 28, 1773 to David Junkin (his father-in-law). It is possible that this Letters of Administration may be in a Clerks Book 1, page 131. If anyone has access to any of this info I would be delighted to pay for any copies and postage, or to have you refer me to a source and I will do it myself (as long as I don't have to travel to PA - I live in Washington (the state). Hannah married 2nd, John McElvain/Mulvain/Mulvan/Mulveen circa 1776 in Oxford, Chester Co. PA. He died about Oct. 1, 1793 in E. Nottingham twp. Chester Co. PA. Any info on John or confirming their marriage would be most appreciated. Hannah and John had 4 sons (William, John, Joseph, Junkin) and a daughter (Hannah). I have a lot of info on the sons, and a tidbit on the daughter Hannah. I do not know when or where Hannah died so anyone with info or suggestions on where to look would be very appreciated. 3.
