    2. Hi to those researching TALLEYS, Two years ago I went to the Bethel Twp., PA Preservation Society Founders Day Festival. They had a lot of TALLEY Books & info there. I do not know if this TALLEY info will be there again this year but you may want to come & see what they have. I have been asked to set up a table on genealogy info & do a lecture on "How to get started in Genealogy Research." The Founders Day activities are from 12-3, the date is Saturday, September 16, at the fire hall/grounds, 3737 Foulk Road, right across the street from Siloam Methodist Church. The house tours are from 3-6. Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS) <<Hi Mary Lou, I always take note when I read about the Talleys, Sharpley's and Simmons. My family were friends with these people and I heard many stories about their childhood. There is a place in Brandywine called Talleys corner. Alot of the Talleys lived there. Do you know about the book "A History of the Talley Family and the Delaware " by George A Talley 1899 pub in Phil. PA Moyer & Lester Many are buried at Newark Union Cemetery like: John C. Talley b. March 13, 1850 d. April 29 1882. You can also try 1.
