    3. Carol, The email in question is simply one that was on the list a year or so ago, and I felt might be of interest again, to newer members, such as you. You may, also, not be aware that THE HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY, listed at the beginning of the post, is a wonderful book, some 700 pages long, that chronicles Chester co, from it's inception till 1889, the book's publishing date. It is considered the "bible" of those of us who research Chester County, and includes much that is now in other counties, etc.....most who research in Chester are familiar with it, and it's abbreviation, F & C .......Chester research often takes in what now is not in Chester county now, but was in early times, and so is still considered Chester research....hopefully, this clears things up for you?
