This may be your best recourse in your quest for public records. I've found that squabbling with local officials can be frustrating and unproductive, but invoking State and Federal statutes and having someone from the state or federal government contact the local agency can be very helpful. It really gives you alot more credibility when you can play the "government game" better than they can! Freedom of information acts and privacy exemptions: http://special.northernlight.com/privacy/freedom_information.htm http://www.spj.org/foia/index.htm is a whole Freedom of Information website, including links to all the state and federal agencies, as well as advocacy groups. Best wishes, Rick PS Feel free to forward these links as you feel appropriate. --part1_c8.998bffa.26dbab51_boundary--
