    1. [PACHESTE] PA Birth & Death Certificates!
    2. Hi Ian, Here is an update on some incorrect info that was sent to you! << Ian: Before you go to all this trouble, it isn't clear why you need someone to look this stuff up for you? In what time period are these marriages and deaths? If before 1885, then yup, you need lookups. And you might find the information that way. [ If since 1890 something, you get the info by writing to Vital Records at New Castle, Pennsylvania (not Delaware). ] >> MY REPLY: The above info is not correct! You cannot get birth & death certificates from the State of PA until 1906. In Delaware Co. you can get marriage records from the Delaware County Court House & some birth & death info, too. Please read the following: Register of Wills: Births 1893-1906 Deaths 1893-1906 Marriages 1885-present To find out about the Vital Records for PA go to: <A HREF="http://vitalrec.com/pacounties1.html">PA Vital Records Counties Info< /A> http://vitalrec.com/pacounties1.html <A HREF="http://vitalrec.com/pa.html">PA Vital Records Info</A> http://vitalrec.com/pa.html <<This is not I don't know the address off hand, but someone will chip it in. Unless they lived in any of certain large cities, in which case you would write to the city. Examples are Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
