Francis Swayne of East Marlborough, b. 12 MO 18, 1722 d. Kennet 3 MO 23 1791 son of Wm and Elizabeth Dell Swayne. they first declared their intentions of marriage at New Garden MM 1 MO 26 1748. About 1761, Francis appears to have removed from E. Marlborough to Kennet Twp, and in 1764 he was assessed in the latter with 164 acres of land, 4 horses ,4 cattle and 13 sheep; but is is likely the young stock were omitted. He and wife were active members of Kennet Meeting, and were buried there.
