Rain and all, I made visits today to the Nantmeal Village Methodist Church cemetery and, on a whim (thank goodness), re-visited St. Anthony's Episcopal Church cemetery at Ludwig's Corner. To all of you who requested I look for your ancestors, I must first say I found no traces of Downing, Titlow, Hawk, Buller, or Pearsal/Piersol. I did, however, find one McCurdy and a "ton" of Chrisman ancestors, as follows (a ? indicates the date was difficult to read and therefore unclear): Isaac Chrisman (8/25/1819 - 6/24/1888) and wife Sara Anderson (1/29/1818-10/10/1892) Sarah Chrisman Irey, 1856-1924, and daughter Helen Irey 7/2/1884 - 11/21/1894 John Wesely Chrisman, 1862??? I confirmed a great deal of McAfee and Hoffecker info and will post on the GenForum Chester Co. site, the GenConnect site, and, of course, the Chester County Gen. Page. It was a tremendous thrill to come face to face with the headstone of my g-g-g-g grandparents, Isaac & Catherine (Smith) McAfee as well as finding the stones for my ggg grandparents and gg grandparents.
