I think it's a good idea. I wrote to him and asked if he'd hunted up his family's tax, deed and probate records. That's how I found out my 3x great grandfather owned a tavern! We really could be more helpful if we had more on this family; we don't even know when his 3X great grandmother was born and died at Blue Pig. He did write me that it is some death register that says she was born and died at Blue Pig. I wrote back, what death register? Also, it seems that Fremont / Freemont is located only a couple of miles from the Maryland state line, and there's a place called Rising Sun just south of there - I wonder if Blue Pig could be near Rising Sun?
